Tropical Soulvangelical is gradually learning as time goes on about being skeptical about doomsday texts. In the case of public figures putting out those texts, he sees it as their throwing their hats into the ring for 2028. There's the more recent one by JP Pritzker and the one from Connecticut's Attorney General back in January with respect to birthright citizenship. As far as TSV is concerned, they've both all but declared for 2028. But he sees it as part of the ongoing War On Biden promulgated by Schumer and Schiff in 7/24 though effectively started on January 21, 2021. TSV sees it as a case of the public getting politically hypnotized into believing that Biden Is A Bad Man, and not thinking for themselves, inflation and Israel aside. But these days, the Schumer Home Office TSV sees as desperately trying to change the subject from how he and Schiff pushed for the undemocracy of 7/24 to that of -trump-. To that end, TSV sees the discussions of Pritzker and CT AG as having been tacitly approved by Schumer's Home Office as both in their fatalism that TSV sees Schumer as adopting as a life's philosophy, and as a distraction from Biden ever having been President. The last thing Schumer wants is for someone somewhere to ask, whatever happened to Biden? Was he ever as bad as they said? Once they start questioning such things, the subject will inevitably turn towards just what -really- happened in 7/24, and whether Biden's departure was truly "voluntary" and necessarily "good for democracy" in the light of what's been happening thus far since 7/24 through 2/25. This TSV sees as keeping Schumer awake at night, so the more he gets public figures to distract from the subject of Biden, the more likely no-one will ever know just how undemocratic the legacy of Schumer truly is. It's possible that TSV will want to explain how he's figured that out with respect to both Pritzker and CT AG, and with any clickbaitish doomscrolling texts that come his way going forward, or at least until the next "news cycle," whatever's coming up.

Looks as though we could be commenting considerably more often as warranted. It was just yesterday or so that Tropical Soulvangelical has said to put off Morning Show pretty much indefinitely. And now here he is declaring an end to his alliance with Eric Adams. TSV just tuned into newsradio to find out about how there were protestors outside City Hall demanding that Kathy Hochul remove Eric Adams from office, and TSV has joined the protestors accordingly. He used to be on Adams' side with respect to the crime issue, and how crime was rife at the same time that it was fashionable to Defund The Police. But at the same time Adams was fighting crime, it turns out he was also -committing- crimes with the allegations set forth by the prosecutor. Since in TSV's view Adams has waived his right to have his day in court, TSV doesn't think the presumption of innocence applies, so he's declared Adams guilty as charged on all counts. Whatever happens, TSV hopes at the very least that Eric Adams is so badly damaged that he won't be able to win a second term, and TSV remembers how Adams was at 28% last year or so. TSV's hoping that won't just climb up to 48% out of sympathy and out of there not being values in the country to just edge out a potential challenger, even if that turns out to be Jumaane Williams. TSV doesn't particularly like Williams but better him than Adams if it comes to it. And now here's where it's at with the Associated Press, because TSV was crawling through a list of events for 2025 with Wikipedia, and found out how -trump- kicked the AP out of the White House because the AP still uses the correct phrase The Gulf Of Mexico, as opposed to The Gulf Of Banana Pancakes. Though the AP did the right thing here, TSV does remember how AP was part of the War On Biden, and probably still is, and how the AP did all it can to downplay Kamala Harris so she couldn't win last year, and how TSV had AP on his list of outlets he's keeping personal surveillance on, which also includes NPR and the New York Times for being -trump-lite-. So he's not particularly sympathetic. He tells the AP that you reap what you sow, and maybe stop being part of the War On Biden so you're not trying to have it both ways in one's lack of journalistic integrity.

Tropical Soulvanglical now seems inclined to put off any and all viewings of the Morning Show on a series of -trump-lite- outings. Not exactly a "boycott" but just TSV saying, come on guys! First was Mikie Sherrill's not-so-formal announcement of running for Governor of TSV's state of residence, which TSV is already boycotting because of her attacks on Joe Biden in 7/24 joining the Schumercrats in that time accordingly, and for resultingly being a -trump-lite- technocrat at a time when TSV pushes the need for pushback leadership against the scourge of -trump-. TSV's state of residence -has- to have a Not In My Backyard Governor in 2025, so he sees no fire-in-your-belly type of stalwart stance, and he doesn't think -anyone's- going to quiz her on her anti-Biden attacks. Secondly was TSV hoping that Tim Ryan was going to be the antithesis to Schumer accordingly on Morning Show, but instead he softballed him and inexplicably claimed "We had our clocks cleaned," when the election stats bear out otherwise. TSV does observe that the Donkeys didn't win the specific elections they wanted to win, but that it hardly amounts to a clock-clean. By contrast, TSV saw how Tim Ryan got -his- clocks cleaned during the 2020 Primary when Kamala Harris and others pointed out holes in the claims he made onstage and during the campaign, and how he just responded with eye rolls when he knew his campaign was tanking right there onstage. Finally the worst outing at the Morning Show was TSV seeing Claire McCaskill attack Biden's preemptive pardons of Liz Cheney and the January 6 committee by claiming that it amounts to a "bad precedent." TSV used to enjoy Morning Show, but that's all but over now. TSV can only see all doom and gloom and cynicism there, and Joe Scarsdale truly losing control of the program, and he has no idea how the program has -any- chance of surviving when there's an emerging faith and principle determination, National Principle, for which the current resistance is mainly a prelude for. Biden may very well get the last laugh against his cowardly critics among the Donkeys.

A few things to unpack here. First was the momentary concern that -trump- might try to defy the courts, and Tropical Soulvangelical was -reasonably- concerned that this might happen. Turns out this time it didn't. -trump- had decided to go through the system with a set of appeals to court moves against his funding freeze. But TSV's question here is, if -trump- truly believes Article II means he can do anything he wants, why didn't he just go ahead and do so? Is he really just a wuss, which TSV observes Adam Kinzinger having proposed at the Donkey Convention 2024 when he said that -trump- is a weak man pretending to be strong. Even if that's the only reason, TSV thinks it's a reasonable practice not to let one's guard down thinking oh he can't do that, he won't do that. He doesn't think maintaining one's guard here is fatalistic. It just makes sense. But he's either a wuss -or- there actually is someone there saying Mr. President I suggest we not go over the line on this one, whether it's court challenges or the tariffs from two weeks ago or any number of things he's folded on thus far. TSV now believes there's definitely a power behind the throne and it's -not- Elon Musk or anyone in the camera's eye (put a pin on this one as we just might come back to this). Also earlier this week was when TSV came to the support of Taylor Swift because the -trumpist- images of her reaction was supposedly of humble shock, but when he saw the whole video playback via Kimmel, he interpreted her reaction as listening and wondering what was going on, and her friend next her seemed to have said, I think they're booing -you- Taylor, and then Taylor laughed. The -trumpist- media didn't show her laughing with the utmost aplomb because TSV figures that runs counter to their attempted narrative of -trump- as an omnipotent power of some kind. So both with the court situation and Taylor Swift, TSV calls on his more fatalist supposed "allies" to continue to call BS on the -trumpist- media trying to do evil laughter instead of fatalistically going oh no he's winning against us because he said so himself. Keep reminding yourself people, this guy's a complete BS Artist. Now that I the Happy Bachelor said that, TSV's coming back to remind me that the guy's an artist with a Sharpie. And now here comes Number 3, and that's not just the BS of the -trumpist- media but also them embarassing themselves supporting just about everything -trump- says. TSV saw the -trumpist- media as actually trying to sell the tariffs against Canada and Mexico, but he saw that the sell only sold 3 copies off the stand, whereas the more "liberal" tabloid condemning the tariffs was completely sold out. But you had -trump- saying, oh US Aid is terrible, and then the -trumpist- media follows up with a logical fallacy trying to get people to think that US Aid is terrible. Their claim was that US Aid supposedly funded the college tuition of a terrorist, and even if that were true (TSV thinks not), TSV reminds us that's Argument By Anecdote. Going forward, TSV's going to try to remind himself that whatever the -trumpist- media claims about something, to believe the opposite. But in any case, TSV wonders why the -trumpist- media doesn't attack banana pancakes if -trump- attacks banana pancakes, and issues an Executive Order that banana pancakes are "woke." TSV doesn't think the word "woke" has any real meaning. He sees it as a placeholder phrase in place of an actual substantive argument for or against something. High school bullies will want to do in the school nerd with tape in the middle of his glasses by calling him "woke" on high school social media. Dumping him into the trash can is so 80s.

Tropical Soulvangelical's booing the booers. He has every reason to believe that at least half of those who are booing Taylor Swift after KC's loss in the Superbowl are a bunch of political plants, and he additionally believes that they really need to get a life. Though he separates them out from actual KC fans who are not happy with Taylor Swift having a relationship with one of their players, -trump- weighing in on the situation is a tipoff to TSV politically. So he thinks the booers need to get a life because he merely sees the Superbowl from a sports point of view, and Taylor Swift's celebrity from a musical point of view. He's happy enough that a team closer to where he lives won the Superbowl against KC being the favorite by 1.5 favoritism points. Where Taylor Swift is concerned, TSV isn't a particular fan of her music because of her overreliance on Autotune. The booers should only be booing her use of Autotune, not her politics. TSV's thinking at this point you might as well politicize buckwheat pancakes. He's thinking of that scene in Tulips with Bernadette Peters and Gene Kaplan where she asks him if his lack of enjoyment in life extends to buckwheat pancakes, and he says, no I don't enjoy pancakes, not even buckwheat. So with all this doomscrolling over the state of democracy, TSV wants the public to weigh in on whether it makes sense to politicize anything that moves, just because -trump- lost in court over the attacks on the Treasury and Usaid, to name a couple TSV remembers offhand.

And now Tropical Soulvangelical gets to blame perhaps -both- crashes on Pete Hegseth, taking an opportunity vacated by the fatalists. TSV observes the fatalists leaving themselves vulnerable in a faux high road stance of, we must let the investigators investigate, which -of course- we should. But that left them vulnerable to -trump's- statement of blame because they themselves, perhaps under orders from Schumer's Home Office, backed away from making any comment. Not TSV, who is absolutely not beholden to a Home Office that overthrew Biden in 7/24, and he also sees the fatalists deciding not to keep on criticizing Pete Hegseth regarding drinking and sexual assault after Hegseth was approved in the Senate solely because, TSV observes, of the You People stance of Mark Wayne Mullin. So what TSV heard Mark Wayne Mullin say as per why Pete Hegseth -should- be approved of is, You People Word Salad You People Word Salad You People Word Salad. That's pretty much the reason why anybody should be approved for anything no matter what. Is there anyone on the Human Services Committee who's going to go, RFK Jr must be approved because You People Word Salad? Tulsi Gabbard must be approved because You People Word Salad. So apparently the fatalists gave into Mark Wayne Mullin when they stopped criticizing Pete Hegseth once Hegseth got approved. But that doesn't stop TSV, who's not beholden to the fatalists, or Schumer's Home Office that gives them their marching orders, so here's why TSV blames Pete Hegseth for the plane crashes. TSV sees three hours prior to the first plane crash Pete Hegseth retiring to the bars after a hard first week at work at the Department Of Defense, and he was already on his third beer when he notes a cute blonde at the other end of the bar, and staggering and slurring he says, I don't care if there's a Black Hawk helicopter under the auspices of my own Defense Department that's hovering around Reagan's International Airport possibly risking a mid-air collision with an airliner in an unspeakable tragedy, how about you and I go back to my place? TSV sees the first crash influence the instance of the second crash because of the concepts of copycatting and race-to-the-bottom in today's fatalistic age. TSV's last question here is, how is Congress doing working on -trump's- doomsday legislation? He asks because it's all been about -trump- and his tariffs and not about bills going through Congress.

In another rebuke to the fatalists, Tropical Soulvanglical criticizes yet another clickbait video title partially reading, "Who's going to stop him now (?)". His answer to that is, we -all- did, albeit with some notable exceptions, during the funding freeze crisis. TSV estimates it being roughly six hours from when the freeze was announced/implemented to when it was taken back because of all the outrage garnered across the country. The country demonstrated in that moment the kind of response it was capable of, and how weak -trump- is in giving into the response rather than doubling down in a fit of My Way Or The Highway. Everybody, that is, except for Schumer, is TSV's reading. Hakim Jeffries initiated an emergency mode among House Donkeys to work the phone banks accordingly along with non-profits that relied on the funding to do their jobs. But amidst the coverage, TSV heard -nothing- out of Schumer, and suspects that Schumer did yet another This Is Bad lip service PR announcement in the kind of philosophical weakness that a number of figures thus far laid on apparently all registered Donkey voters, considerably unfairly, because the registered voters, TSV doesn't think, don't subscribe to Schumer's pseudogandhism. TSV observes that it's this flawed philosophy that governs both Schumer's PR announcements and his undemocratic war on Biden of 7/24, and which TSV points out may very well still be going on right now despite lack of coverage to the effect. But where -trump- goes, TSV wonders if this is such an invincible Lex Luthor type figure, why -didn't- we get pushback from the guy accordingly? The answer TSV found laid in Rachel Maddow's observation that the administration is not good at the villainy it tries to play out, and which TSV predicted as far back as Wednesday November 6 that this would be the case when apparently everyone else was predicting Lex Luthor. TSV, by contrast, was predicting the incompetence of the Ant Hill Mob or Dick Dastardly, and he sees that as being confirmed thus far. The problem he saw coming was not a police state dictatorship as much as a stance of apathetic incompetence in times of need, which was unfortunately -also- borne out in their response to the first plane crash in 24 hours recently, though he also has a bad feeling of how they might have responded to the second crash as well. In the first crash at least, TSV has questions about where Pete Hegseth was and what he was doing at the time, since after all the coverage regarding the man's drinking and prediliction towards sexual assault TSV found it highly unlikely that we would just get a dial tone the moment after he set foot into the Pentagon for the first time as Secretary. This TSV wants us to cover in another base share.
