A few tidbits. Tropical Soulvangelical took to Twitter to not only let the DC Attorney General know that he's got his back, but TSV also proposed to DC's delegate at large that the home rule be revised to allow DC to take over the White House in case of emergency rather than it always being the other way around. From a practical point of view, TSV believes DC will point to the abuse of home rule in effect right now as a case for DC statehood, but he doesn't think that by itself is an adequate fight-back response to the troop deployment particularly considering -trump- wants to occupy Chicago and New York City. TSV's observed that the self-pity stance of the rich donor class among others simply encourages -trump- to go after them and their values, and TSV says hear-hear to the defiant stance on part of Chicago's city leadership. He's noticed that -trump- dropped the subject of occupying Chicago when they did that, thereby confirming the TACO notion of -trump- always chickens out. TSV, on the other hand, is striving to -never- chicken out so maybe the acronym in his case would be something to the effect of TSVNCO, which doesn't spell a word unfortunately. But unlike the pseudoactivist groups like the the Ivy League Idealists and the intellectualists and the rich donors, to name a few, TSV's stance is not to quote Neimoller or just go "ooh this is dangerous" but instead propose tit-for-tat like wrt to the troops in DC. He's used to being told that his proposals are somehow impractical, unconstructive, not planned out very well, whatever, and he's stopped listening to every word of that because what if Zelensky was told that and he decided to give in to Russia as a result? Because that's what will happen, hence TSV estimates that I and he as a group of two have made more political defiance against -trump- than all the pseudoactivists put together. That's because unlike them we're not trying to write a book. When then-Czechoslovakia got occupied in 1968, did we see a lot of self-pitying book writers quote Andrew Weissman in declaring "the end is nigh?" Or did the people do what they could to resist, even if at that time it would have been almost impossible odds? Among other things, TSV sees the pseudoactivists also motivated by a fear of failure. Things are going to not work from time to time, and TSV wants to dress down the pseudoactivists accordingly, reminding them that that's just life. He's failed far more often than he's succeeded, but he refuses to adopt an inferiority complex like the pseudoactivists have. In that spirit, he also proposes a hopeful graphic for the future that reverses the conversion of the White House flower garden into deck chair deck. In this graphic, and those of you who are interested may want to either do an image search or an AI, the before and after graphics show the deck chairs and the rose garden respectively, demonstrating the upcoming return of the rose garden. But also in the after graphic, we see a burning bonfire of the deck chairs at a safe distance from the future returning rose garden, but TSV doesn't think that's going to happen if Nice Guy Butti gets installed in 2028. But TSV does see the eventual return of Antifa, and he sees it as Antifa 2.0 that will not just take the fight to -trump- but also the Trump Lite pseudoactivists and perhaps the central party's Bidenhaters. It's going to happen.

A few things here, as best as I the Happy Bachelor and Tropical Soulvangelical can remember. There's always stuff to unpack. We revised the "girlfriend" pics so as to have them follow the same path towards principle we've been beseeching of the populace accordingly, so we hope by now no-one's going to say anything to the effect of how we're not walking the walk. We -are-, so how about -others- doing so? Where the Texas Donkeys are concerned, TSV heard a claim on 1010 WINS that they're apparently going -back- to Texas, but he can't find proof of that on the Wikipedia article regarding the redistricting. But when they left Texas to break quorum, the three states TSV read they went to were New York, California and Illinois, but why not also TSV's own state? It makes it harder for TSV to help them out if they decide to ghost TSV's home state. He's getting tired of his home state being totally invisible, because last time he checked, it -was- one of the 50 states of the union. Another thing he doesn't understand is why the governors of those three states hadn't proposed adding blue districts in their own states -regardless- of whether Texas adds red districts? Maybe even by executive order? Just Texas threatening to do so is more than enough reason to pull the trigger on your own in this instance. This kind of rhetoric from the urbanes like the Ivy League Idealists and the intellectualists and the rich Donkey nailbiters just really tires the heck out of TSV. He proposes that democracy will remain unsafe when Texas decides -not- to redistrict -if- the blue states also decide -not- to redistrict in response. This while the hypocritical urbanes excoriate the populace over -their- supposed cowardice. TSV also further proposes that the true pursuers of principle mount a restraining order on the urbanes if things escalate. This also gets to TSV's followup on Kamala Harris plugging her book on Colbert claiming that it's "naive" to "wait it out." As a citizen himself, TSV respectfully points out to the Vice President that resistance against the conformist establishment wrt -trump- is ultimately about -constructfully- waiting to a more hopeful time in the future when not only -trump- is out of office, but he's made to answer for what he's done, including business fraud and money laundering that TSV's finding no-one's talking about, and also damaging our children's morality. There's no doubt that -trump- is heading for a burning grave (if not a jail on Earth) even if a neo-Antifa ends up burning that grave themselves. TSV thinks Antifa needs to come back to slap the urbanes out of their self-righteous and self-pitying reverie. But TSV tells us it's a -hundred times more naive- to assume that -trump's- burning grave will never happen. It's going to happen, and TSV will be there to tell you he told you so.

Tropical Soulvangelical waited nearly two weeks before watching the Kamala interview on Colbert, but he finally tuned in with great interest, and he's got some takeaways. Being pro-Biden, TSV was especially interested in Kamala's thoughts on the central party's War On Biden. Kamala's response was that she "wasn't going to pile on." TSV knew she really wanted to say "I wasn't going to pile on -Biden-," but that was pretty much narrow straits in the interview, so she figured that she needed to choose her words carefully. TSV understands, but he found revelations in Colbert as well, in that he wasn't unsympathetic to the central party Bidenhaters, and while TSV still loves Colbert and wishes he take TSV's advice not to make his career choice as being CBS-or-nothing as per the Youth Power Ivy League Idealists' putting pressure on him accordingly, he still believes that Colbert is seriously mistaken in taking this stance regarding Biden and now not applying regret to his decision. Colbert must know by now that the central party bled nearly half its donation base in choosing to attack not only Biden, but also Biden's supporters as well as basic values that Biden and his supporters have sworn to live by, namely the concept of principle. By supporting the central party's decision to not recant their attacks on Biden, Colbert has helped assure that those lost supporters will never come back until the central party admits wrongdoing, even if that's 20 years from now. So what about the rest of the interview? TSV believes that Kamala -will- try to make a comeback in '28, possibly as a primary challenge to "Butti" whom for some reason TSV observes that Chris D. Jackson has confided in but whom TSV truly doesn't trust until Butti -also- makes clear where he stands on the War On Biden. He doesn't think she was necessarily untruthful when she said that she didn't want to run for office because she felt the system was broken, but if you've read us this far you'd see that TSV sees the breakages as -specifically- being with the central party rather than just the system at large. He also gets the impression that Colbert wanted his audience to go into the interview in suspension of disbelief over the War On Biden, for everyone to somehow pretend that it's not going on, and then try to keep the interview on those specific 107 days, rather than the 40 days that took place before the 107 days. Ultimately, they did end up going to the elephant in the living room. TSV is already skeptical of books, because they are ultimately just the opinion of their respective authors, and he doubts he'll dabble in 107 Days accordingly. But if he ever does, he believes that at least half of Colbert's audience will read the book with the War On Biden in mind, and only see the book through that lens with the likelihood that the book will try to make the War On Biden a less than minor narrative, but still come away like TSV did from the interview that Kamala would have won if there wasn't a War On Biden, -or- the central party suddenly remembers that principle is still a thing and recants their War On Biden so that Kamala would have the moral support she needed to send -trump- back to jail.

Tropical Soulvangelical forgot specifically what it was that made him mad enough to get me the Happy Bachelor to do a base share for him. But while he's trying to remember, a few things. Firstly, he strongly doubts that Colbert will take his advice and find a post-CBS gig to continue some sort of show from, and that's because TSV believes Colbert's under pressure from some of his supporters to take a CBS-or-nothing stance. They'll try to tell him that if he looks for a post-gig, that will amount to a "surrender" of sorts. TSV hasn't heard anything specifically, but Colbert did have "pod save america" on after last year's election which TSV found Team Joe's criticisms of to be valid. The criticisms are that, who do they think -they- are to think -they're- the ones to "save" America, being centered in Beverly Hills and not necessarily reflecting the concerns of the working class, particularly the pro-46. So TSV thinks psa's helping put this pressure on. Another issue is about the political trope of the Weak Donkey. TSV still thinks this sentiment is directed at actual registered Donkey voters (despite their everyday protests) and not the central party even though it should be directed at the party. TSV would otherwise not disagree with the trope -if- it were directed at the party, but he thinks it's actually very hypocritical to accuse -someone else- of being weak when -you're- too weak to specify who exactly you're talking about and not name names. TSV wants it to be Schumer and Schiff and the Dirty 30 and George Clooney and Jake Tapper and the other Bidenhaters, and this being only a little over a year after 7/24, TSV has observed that this Weak Donkey sentiment -still hasn't- acknowledged the attacks on Biden, so doubly hypocritical is this trope. A third thing is the "hidden story" trope being floated by some activists that claim that certain stories -they- think Americans should be concerned about are somehow inherently unreported. On the contrary, TSV has found experientially thus far over the past six months or so that 90% of what he believed he needed to know he's found -does- get reported either on newsradio for him first thing in the morning, or in Wikipedia's list of events for 2025. Sure you're never going to cover 100%, but where the missing 10% is concerned, he observes the activists as using the "smoking gun may be a mushroom cloud" argument because they, too, aren't specific enough as to which missing stories people should be looking out for. He believes that if you ask them, you're only going to get what amounts to their -opinion- and not actual reportable facts. He already does that here, because what's to stop TSV from declaring that the opinions he's getting me the Happy Bachelor to put out aren't themselves "hidden stories" that conformist society wants to deny are going on, just because he says so? And now here's a fourth thing. He never got a chance to say so 15 months ago, but over the Memorial Holiday Weekend of 2024, he got harassed on the road by a tailgater trying to get him to speed on a 45 speed limit road and TSV's already doing 50, and the tailgater passed him over a double yellow line with a roaring engine (no it wasn't a muscle car). TSV beeped at him and the tailgater beeped back at him in a kind of how-dare-you stance. TSV now, in August of 2025, condemns the tailgater as inherently personally corrupt and will not fall prey to the past events argument that the conformist society would try to give him. It was probably about politics but TSV never takes -his- politics out on the road. He's just trying to get from point A to point B, so it just doesn't make sense to him regarding people who just take a drive out on the road because they got nothing better to do and wasting all that gas. So accordingly he turns to the tailgater right now and asks him if things are really better off for the tailgater 15 months later than 15 months ago, and hence says to the tailgater, May God Have Mercy On Your Soul. TSV doesn't forget things because it's actually a sin to do so. It amounts to lack of faith in the things you claim to believe in.
