Like possibly most other Americans, Tropical Soulvangelical wants to make tribute to Cory Booker's 25 hour filibuster protesting -trump's- policies. That being said, TSV acknowledges that Mr. Booker may have wasted his time, because the Donkeys apparently used Mr. Booker's podium as a handy hiding space for their shortcomings, not the least of which was last year's undemocratic defiance of the will of primary voters with respect to Biden. TSV imagines that when Mr. Booker went into his 10th hour, Schumer was in a panic over a member of his caucus actually doing something to get people's attention. When hour 15 came along, TSV figures that Schumer figured that as long as Mr. Booker continues his speech, attention would be focused on Mr. Booker and not so much on Schumer himself, and also not on Schumer's War On Biden or the funding controversy from just over a week ago. TSV doubts -anyone- remembers that controversy, the least of whom the people who protested outside of Schumer's Home Office. Another hidden item TSV found inside Mr. Booker's podium was a proposal from three years ago to get rid of the filibuster -solely because- it was once used for harm. TSV figures you get don't rid of fire extinguishers just because the Jonas Brothers were once accused of using them as questionable stage props. Maybe not going through with that proposal was a smart thing the Donkeys did, because they would otherwise have nothing to work with. Another thing that TSV found hidden in light of both the Supreme Court election in Wisconsin and the two special elections that took place was the failed prediction on the part of both Hillary Clinton and Michael Cohen that if -trump- won last year, there will be no more elections. Now TSV sees them both with egg on their faces. But the kind of election TSV doesn't want to see in 2028 is one that's based -solely- on self-interest in light of the terrible things -trump- is doing, vis-a-vis If Not The One Then The Other. TSV doesn't want there to be a Bernie or a similarly unqualified figure, because such a figure would cast aside the more stalwart candidates, and fail in overall leadership, and make this country a Scandinavian irrelevance that doesn't stand for anything. TSV doesn't believe it's enough to give the people what they want in being an antitrump technocrat in 2028. You need to be the kind of inspirational type TSV saw in Biden, and that's something TSV doesn't believe that the political elites or the activists would ever understand about him as a voter. Otherwise, TSV doesn't think we'll see the likes of Biden again, and instead the country will have to settle for a series of embarrassing walking mediocrities for what TSV sees as the rest of this country's future. Very sorry, Mr. Booker, but nice try anyway.

As a followup to our base share on SignalGate, Tropical Soulvangelical wants to make a correction. He incorrectly indicated that the reference to Martin O'Malley was in the petition he signed. Instead, it was in a subsequent email he saw regarding the site wanting to make a billboard ad. That's where they talked about Martin O'Malley. But one thing he has been kind of wanting to say for nearly five and a half months now, since Wednesday November 6, was that he's been led to believe that Insurgent and those three outlets he's suspicious of actually -wanted- -trump- to win. He's brought back to that one political cartoon just after George W. Bush won reelection where two regular reporters and an anti-Bush cartoonist high-five each other chanting "Four more years!" The cartoonist had in his hand toward the fourth wall that "chimpy" caricature of Bush we're all familiar with right now, even in the throes of SignalGate. Again since Tuesday, TSV's not seeing any doomsday coverage regarding Social Security or Funny Named Care or the post office. It's all been SignalGate, all week long. But now that we're coming up on the weekend, he's thinking that it'll be half a newscycle into the scandal come Monday, so he's pretty sure they'll go back to their usual nailbiting mostly unconfirmed or unsupported by at least regular reports that show up for TSV both on newsradio and on that 2025 list of events that's pretty much his "newspaper." So why would they want -trump- to win? TSV figures it goes back to those outlets' apparent view with George Carlin about News As Entertainment, which TSV figures must be a concept almost totally alien in smaller and more rural countries where peoples' most main outlet of information is some sort of newsradio. He finds it hard to imagine people in those places getting "glued" to the radio and doomscrolling their radios. Doomscrolling and News As Entertainment TSV takes as western indulgences, or read, western -excess-. TSV wants the people from smaller countries to just frown at us in the sinful west and think, come on guys! But if Harris won, TSV figures she'd be smart and run a smart kind of no-drama-bama type administration which would just be totally dull and ho-hum, because you'd have competent people running the scene who generally know what they're doing. That whole scandalization on Lloyd Austin not telling people he went in for surgery now seems like a forgivable oversight compared to the vagaries of SignalGate. It's those total idiots that provide wall-to-wall political entertainment, and the outlets -are- running a business, so the more eyes are glued to stupid politicians, the more ad revenue the outlets bring in. This is all again part of things TSV tries to remind himself every day that he doesn't think anyone else is really aware of unless they just put down their phones and/or turn the TV off and think, you know what? We -are- a bunch of self-obsessed excessive types, and we need to get a grip. Nobody predicted that SignalGate would happen. Harris never made such a warning on the campaign trail, and maybe she should have. TSV for his part would never specifically predicted SignalGate, but he figured some kind of "scandal" or something was bound to happen. Again he's seeing not so much Lex Luthor as much as Dick Dastardly.

Wednesday, March 26, 2025

By now most of you have certainly heard of "SignalGate." However, Tropical Soulvangelical has his cynicisms specifically where it comes to both Chuck Schumer and the Social Security Scare. Now where Social Security is concerned, TSV refers to reports of the "proposal" and the layoffs, both of which he believes are problems that you can solve by -rejecting- the proposal and -rehiring- people who got laid off. For his end, TSV's made donations and signed at least one petition. Other than that, he's not referring to the scare media outside of those reports, but he has observed that the scare coverage had been effectively tossed aside when SignalGate started happening. He's wondering if that's their way of conceding that the scare coverage is simply scare coverage that's not reflected by the actual reports that TSV's aware of. Another sign of concession he saw in that one petition that for some reason quoted Martin O'Malley, the great Ed Snowden protege from 2016. If the scare is truly supposed to be believed, that petition site he thinks should never have referred to such a controversial figure, and he's messaged the site accordingly. TSV's also observed that SignalGate got started not by the editor in chief at the Atlantic (a publication for which TSV hasn't seen a Papua New Guinea equivalent of, since it's got to be about basic information on a newsradio), but by Chuck Schumer as per the BBC's reference to a U.S. Senate Minority Leader's demand for hearings on the matter -the Monday after- Schumer had to contend with protests outside his residence during that weekend demanding that he step down after his government funding decision. It looked just as Stalking Horse for TSV as -trump- does for Schumer in general. TSV contacted his Senators to say that whatever that funding situation was about, it certainly reflected Schumer's decision to defy the will of primary voters in JulyOf24 and pressure Biden out of that race. You might have guessed that part of the reason why TSV keeps bringing up 7/24 is because that's the immoral society taking his President away from him, whereas that same immoral society currently has -trump- and in 2028 will inevitably have Bernie, regardless of how TSV is going to vote then. But it's not merely about TSV being embittered because it took a defiance against Democracy at large on Schumer's part (and on the part of the Israel Haters in placing a Not Committed line on the ballots, and possibly also Dean Phillips and Marianne Williamson) to deny TSV his rightful President. Of course he's pretty sure that no-one even remembers who Biden even is/was, let alone was once their President, for while the shock and horror and embarrassment and satire of SignalGate is still going on.

Thursday, March 13, 2025

Tim Walz makes 7, or perhaps 8, though Tropical Soulvangelical stopped counting at about 5 or so. But before TSV talks Tim Walz, TSV proposes that the next Truly Stalwart Donkey (as opposed to -trumplite- Donkey) in the Mold of Biden promise to issue an executive order overturning Ford's pardon of Nixon. No doubt it'll never pass the courts, but if -trump- isn't letting the courts challenge him on the issue of birthright citizenship, TSV figures that a TSDMB shouldn't let the courts challenge that person on the overturning of Ford's pardon of Nixon, and here's what TSV believes that will accomplish for the good of the country. The pardon of Nixon did the opposite of Ford's claim of "healing the country," and just sowed more cynicism to the point where Reagan won twice in a row, the second by a landslide in which TSV was one year too young to vote in (more on that either here or else-when), and that's because the cynics effectively boycotted both elections. The overturning of the Ford Pardon would resolve the unfinished business of that cynicism still existing, and being passed down through countless generations till now. The overturning of the Ford Pardon, TSV further explains, would also enable prosecutorial historians to make their case in history court, or at least make the case of there -being- a history court of some sort, even if that history court is the people themselves being able to directly make additions to the public record with respect to their popular judgments on figures in the country's history. This demonstrates that we as a people think more and higher above just the Franklinian cynicism of self-interest, and empowers the people to take charge of their own long term history. So in such a history court the prosecutorial historians would have access to the Nixon Secret Tapes to uncover further evidence of crimes against the country on Nixon's part. TSV believes that extended members of Nixon's descendants and his estate would do a defense attorney challenge on the rendering of such a judgment, which is perfectly fair and keeps in line with the court trial model of allowing the people themselves the ultimate judgment to be directly entered into the public record, and TSV figures that's for pretty much all eternity. Such judgments may very well change back and forth through time, but he doesn't think that -just- making an online comment like this one is good enough. Nobody's -ever- going to remember that -anyone- -ever- made an online comment about -anything.- You need certification to get past what TSV views as Political Goldfishism, which is about having the memory of a political goldfish, and that's the unwillingness to try to remember what happened before the current two-year election cycle, or to try to envision a point -after- the current two-year election cycle. That's why TSV observes people like Schumer and Schiff are desperately trying to pretend that 7/24 never happened, and that's partially through always trying to change the subject, and -trump- will always serve as a convenient change of subject. TSV also proposes, maybe for me the Happy Bachelor to talk about in a future base share, direct primaries and getting rid of the delegate system, and open yearly referendums every election year. Where Tim Walz is concerned, TSV finds him more likeable and resultingly hopes he repents his participation in the election interference against Biden of 7/24, which TSV has every reason to believe will -never- happen among the Schumerdonkeys or the Berniedonkeys.

Tuesday, March 11, 2025

Now with Bernie, we're up to six, and that's Tropical Soulvangelical's takeaway from last Friday onwards. So he figures we got five Schumerdonkeys in the race, and now we got Bernie that he sees as picking up where Bernie left off. TSV's current hypothesis is that the Bernie Entrance is linked to the Social Security Scare. He perused a number of video headlines saying Social Security This, Social Security That, and he immediately went to both newsradio and that one list, and you people need to know this one, called 2025 in the United States, with Wikipedia. He couples that with the Social Security article, and all he has gleaned was SSA announcing layoffs and -trump- saying factually wrong stuff about centenarian beneficiaries. The scarelines he saw in his videos lists he hasn't been able to confirm in actuality, and he and Marco's Grandmother both agreed to deal in actualities and not in hypotheticals. So for all intents and purposes the scarelines he saw were hypotheticals, albeit -repeated- hypotheticals. He reminds people that that's Argument By Repetition. Saying more or less the same thing over and over again doesn't make that thing more true. It may -seem- like you must be missing some sort of hidden reporting if the list of video titles seem to fit some sort of pattern, but TSV in his faith believes this is not the case. He could be wrong, but it's already March 11, and he hasn't been proven wrong yet in this sort of thing, and he's not as concerned with there being a first time as much as if it happens what does he do then. Because then it'll be an actuality. So how does Bernie fit into all this? -Is- Bernie connected with the Social Security Scare? TSV can't prove that, but after that stunning convergence he stumbled upon two weeks ago, which is a full "news cycle" by the way, a connection between Bernie and the Scare he doesn't think can be ruled out. After all, it's the classic political formula of "You should know that everthing terrible is happening or -will- happen with Issue X!!! But -I- have the solution!!! Therefore, -Vote For Me-!!!" It's among the oldest tricks in the book that TSV has gotten wise about since the days of Impulsive 20 years ago. It's the Rascals singing, "You got the fever, I got the cure." So it's not very unreasonable to think it's more than a coincidence that the Scare is going around -at the same time- that Bernie's going around. But TSV holds fast to holding fast. Out of the six apparent contenders, he's not seen -even one- who holds to the values of faith and principle he saw in Biden, whom he also notes Bernie helped Schumer and Schiff undemocratically go after in 7/24. Bernie was a fully willing participant in 7/24, and as such TSV warns about Bernie wanting people to forget about that as much as Schumer does. TSV wants me the Happy Bachelor to keep it at this paragraph's length, because like with so many things these days, there's an infinite amount of things to unpack. TSV, like Biden, wants to go straight to the things that matter the most at any given time. Stay tuned.

Friday, March 7, 2025

It's apparent to Tropical Soulvangelical that Lisa Slotkin stumbled right into the trap that -trump- laid for her. Her "response" to the union address TSV saw as nothing short of a missive of surrender coming directly from Schumer's Home Office, and again is part of the War On Biden without anyone necessarily (except for -trump-) mentioning Biden's name. It's the same (almost deliberately) failed strategy of turning your weak side to your opponent with the unwarranted expectation of mercy, and being defeated again. Lisa Slotkin had effectively ceded union address victory to -trump-, and it fell to pretty much everyone else to have to pick up the slack, like in late night comics for example. The one person TSV saw as -truly- responding to -trump- was strangely enough the "polite Canadian" Justin Trudeau who took a more Bidenistic position of strength and determination that not only Schumer lacks, but is downright irrationally terrified of. TSV's pretty sure that Schumer had decided to indefinitely postpone any meetings he had originally planned with the Prime Minister. TSV doesn't think that his more -trumpist- colleagues at the Bland Barns Catering Counter understand that it's ultimately not about politics, but about pursuing faith and principle, and obstensibly disavowing cynicism and personal corruption. It was Ash Wednesday this week (pretty late in the year apparently), and many followers personally see it as a time of atonement for having largely been overly concerned about earthly matters. The specific politics of whether it's U.S. or Europe providing either $300 billion or $299 billion for Ukraine's security TSV sees through as an ultimately mundane aside to what direction in which we must proceed if we truly believe.

Saturday, March 1, 2025

So here's how Tropical Soulvangelical was able to figure out the situation with JP Pritzker that he got me the Happy Bachelor to talk about the other day. We were just talking about the generalities of things, but TSV reread that base share and said, hey, we forgot the specifics! So here you go. He kept track of general events both on newsradio and on Wikipedia's very special list of 2025 events in the US, along with the BBC. He's not suggesting that these sources are necessarily bullet-proof, but in terms of general headlines he feels they served him well. That's also not to mention his embittered experience with the head-bleep activism of the 2000s against Bush, and what he's seeing thus far has almost totally mirrored what he saw then, so now he's got experience of generally what to expect in the activism, and hence, not get caught like he did twenty years ago. So here's what he perceived. He got a doomsday fundraising type text claiming that Rachel Maddow delivered a "stark warning" and that he had to click on a link to find out what that warning was. He -did not- click on the warning because he knows that's classic clickbait. But when he was watching some relaxing entertainment vids, he saw the SEO video list contain titles about how JP Pritzker delivers a "stark warning." Totally exact wording, and he was stunned at that. He kind of went down the list and saw how Pritzker's "stark warning" was delivered both on CNN and on Insurgent, so now we know better who JP Pritzker is as the current Governor of Illinois who a week before his "stark warnings" on the two networks also delivered the same "stark warning" a week beforehand in some kind of joint session of state Congress in Illinois, the same state where TSV's working on getting primary challengers against Chuy Garcia for Garcia's participation on Schumer's War On Biden 7/24 last year. Maybe that was a coincidence, but we also now know who the Attorney General for Connecticut was back in January for pretending to be the only state AG to challenge -trump's- attacks on birthright citizenship when in fact it was 22 state AGs as well as DC that made a joint lawsuit. TSV forgot the CT AG's name offhand, but now that we have the Internet, you're just supposed to look it up, and when you do, you'll have a name that comes to mind when both Pritzker and CT AG declare their runs for President two years from now. Now how exactly did TSV trace Pritzker to Schumer's Home Office? Well, glad you asked! That's because when TSV was scrolling through the SEO list, the phrase "stark warning" also appeared next to a video title for another figure that -trump- wants to "elevate" to a cabinet position. What TSV read was something to the effect of, "Stark warning made on figure -trump- wants to elevate: This person believes -trump- is entitled to..." and then there are points of ellipsis. The good ole YouTube points of ellipsis that force you to have to clickbait on that video to see the supposedly hideous thing that follows those points of ellipsis. The video thumbnail shows the figure with his mouth wide open in a supposed shouting match, and then when TSV scrolled down even more, he was stunned again to see that the -same exact wide open mouth shot- was copied, pixel by pixel, to a video thumbnail on -Schiff's own YouTube page- accordingly. And if you've been keeping in touch here, you'll know Schiff as the lieutenant to Schumer, the two architects of the undemocratic overthrow of Biden in 7/24. So when you reread our last base share, everything falls into place. The next night, TSV got another doomsday text reading to the effect of, Obama issues serious alert, click here for more. The phrase "serious alert" is almost synonymous with the phrase "stark warning." All you need to do is swap out the adjective and the noun that follows it, and unobservant recipients will never remember that they're seeing the same phrase just differently worded. Where TSV's info sources come in, they never mentioned about JP Pritzker, so Pritzker's appearance on TV is not considered as newsworthy as it is attention getting for unsuspecting online surfers. That's where we're at right now, so in the meantime, watch out for those clickbaits!

Thursday, February 27, 2025

Tropical Soulvangelical is gradually learning as time goes on about being skeptical about doomsday texts. In the case of public figures putting out those texts, he sees it as their throwing their hats into the ring for 2028. There's the more recent one by JP Pritzker and the one from Connecticut's Attorney General back in January with respect to birthright citizenship. As far as TSV is concerned, they've both all but declared for 2028. But he sees it as part of the ongoing War On Biden promulgated by Schumer and Schiff in 7/24 though effectively started on January 21, 2021. TSV sees it as a case of the public getting politically hypnotized into believing that Biden Is A Bad Man, and not thinking for themselves, inflation and Israel aside. But these days, the Schumer Home Office TSV sees as desperately trying to change the subject from how he and Schiff pushed for the undemocracy of 7/24 to that of -trump-. To that end, TSV sees the discussions of Pritzker and CT AG as having been tacitly approved by Schumer's Home Office as both in their fatalism that TSV sees Schumer as adopting as a life's philosophy, and as a distraction from Biden ever having been President. The last thing Schumer wants is for someone somewhere to ask, whatever happened to Biden? Was he ever as bad as they said? Once they start questioning such things, the subject will inevitably turn towards just what -really- happened in 7/24, and whether Biden's departure was truly "voluntary" and necessarily "good for democracy" in the light of what's been happening thus far since 7/24 through 2/25. This TSV sees as keeping Schumer awake at night, so the more he gets public figures to distract from the subject of Biden, the more likely no-one will ever know just how undemocratic the legacy of Schumer truly is. It's possible that TSV will want to explain how he's figured that out with respect to both Pritzker and CT AG, and with any clickbaitish doomscrolling texts that come his way going forward, or at least until the next "news cycle," whatever's coming up.

Monday, February 17, 2025

Looks as though we could be commenting considerably more often as warranted. It was just yesterday or so that Tropical Soulvangelical has said to put off Morning Show pretty much indefinitely. And now here he is declaring an end to his alliance with Eric Adams. TSV just tuned into newsradio to find out about how there were protestors outside City Hall demanding that Kathy Hochul remove Eric Adams from office, and TSV has joined the protestors accordingly. He used to be on Adams' side with respect to the crime issue, and how crime was rife at the same time that it was fashionable to Defund The Police. But at the same time Adams was fighting crime, it turns out he was also -committing- crimes with the allegations set forth by the prosecutor. Since in TSV's view Adams has waived his right to have his day in court, TSV doesn't think the presumption of innocence applies, so he's declared Adams guilty as charged on all counts. Whatever happens, TSV hopes at the very least that Eric Adams is so badly damaged that he won't be able to win a second term, and TSV remembers how Adams was at 28% last year or so. TSV's hoping that won't just climb up to 48% out of sympathy and out of there not being values in the country to just edge out a potential challenger, even if that turns out to be Jumaane Williams. TSV doesn't particularly like Williams but better him than Adams if it comes to it. And now here's where it's at with the Associated Press, because TSV was crawling through a list of events for 2025 with Wikipedia, and found out how -trump- kicked the AP out of the White House because the AP still uses the correct phrase The Gulf Of Mexico, as opposed to The Gulf Of Banana Pancakes. Though the AP did the right thing here, TSV does remember how AP was part of the War On Biden, and probably still is, and how the AP did all it can to downplay Kamala Harris so she couldn't win last year, and how TSV had AP on his list of outlets he's keeping personal surveillance on, which also includes NPR and the New York Times for being -trump-lite-. So he's not particularly sympathetic. He tells the AP that you reap what you sow, and maybe stop being part of the War On Biden so you're not trying to have it both ways in one's lack of journalistic integrity.

Sunday, February 16, 2025

Tropical Soulvanglical now seems inclined to put off any and all viewings of the Morning Show on a series of -trump-lite- outings. Not exactly a "boycott" but just TSV saying, come on guys! First was Mikie Sherrill's not-so-formal announcement of running for Governor of TSV's state of residence, which TSV is already boycotting because of her attacks on Joe Biden in 7/24 joining the Schumercrats in that time accordingly, and for resultingly being a -trump-lite- technocrat at a time when TSV pushes the need for pushback leadership against the scourge of -trump-. TSV's state of residence -has- to have a Not In My Backyard Governor in 2025, so he sees no fire-in-your-belly type of stalwart stance, and he doesn't think -anyone's- going to quiz her on her anti-Biden attacks. Secondly was TSV hoping that Tim Ryan was going to be the antithesis to Schumer accordingly on Morning Show, but instead he softballed him and inexplicably claimed "We had our clocks cleaned," when the election stats bear out otherwise. TSV does observe that the Donkeys didn't win the specific elections they wanted to win, but that it hardly amounts to a clock-clean. By contrast, TSV saw how Tim Ryan got -his- clocks cleaned during the 2020 Primary when Kamala Harris and others pointed out holes in the claims he made onstage and during the campaign, and how he just responded with eye rolls when he knew his campaign was tanking right there onstage. Finally the worst outing at the Morning Show was TSV seeing Claire McCaskill attack Biden's preemptive pardons of Liz Cheney and the January 6 committee by claiming that it amounts to a "bad precedent." TSV used to enjoy Morning Show, but that's all but over now. TSV can only see all doom and gloom and cynicism there, and Joe Scarsdale truly losing control of the program, and he has no idea how the program has -any- chance of surviving when there's an emerging faith and principle determination, National Principle, for which the current resistance is mainly a prelude for. Biden may very well get the last laugh against his cowardly critics among the Donkeys.

Thursday, February 13, 2025

A few things to unpack here. First was the momentary concern that -trump- might try to defy the courts, and Tropical Soulvangelical was -reasonably- concerned that this might happen. Turns out this time it didn't. -trump- had decided to go through the system with a set of appeals to court moves against his funding freeze. But TSV's question here is, if -trump- truly believes Article II means he can do anything he wants, why didn't he just go ahead and do so? Is he really just a wuss, which TSV observes Adam Kinzinger having proposed at the Donkey Convention 2024 when he said that -trump- is a weak man pretending to be strong. Even if that's the only reason, TSV thinks it's a reasonable practice not to let one's guard down thinking oh he can't do that, he won't do that. He doesn't think maintaining one's guard here is fatalistic. It just makes sense. But he's either a wuss -or- there actually is someone there saying Mr. President I suggest we not go over the line on this one, whether it's court challenges or the tariffs from two weeks ago or any number of things he's folded on thus far. TSV now believes there's definitely a power behind the throne and it's -not- Elon Musk or anyone in the camera's eye (put a pin on this one as we just might come back to this). Also earlier this week was when TSV came to the support of Taylor Swift because the -trumpist- images of her reaction was supposedly of humble shock, but when he saw the whole video playback via Kimmel, he interpreted her reaction as listening and wondering what was going on, and her friend next her seemed to have said, I think they're booing -you- Taylor, and then Taylor laughed. The -trumpist- media didn't show her laughing with the utmost aplomb because TSV figures that runs counter to their attempted narrative of -trump- as an omnipotent power of some kind. So both with the court situation and Taylor Swift, TSV calls on his more fatalist supposed "allies" to continue to call BS on the -trumpist- media trying to do evil laughter instead of fatalistically going oh no he's winning against us because he said so himself. Keep reminding yourself people, this guy's a complete BS Artist. Now that I the Happy Bachelor said that, TSV's coming back to remind me that the guy's an artist with a Sharpie. And now here comes Number 3, and that's not just the BS of the -trumpist- media but also them embarassing themselves supporting just about everything -trump- says. TSV saw the -trumpist- media as actually trying to sell the tariffs against Canada and Mexico, but he saw that the sell only sold 3 copies off the stand, whereas the more "liberal" tabloid condemning the tariffs was completely sold out. But you had -trump- saying, oh US Aid is terrible, and then the -trumpist- media follows up with a logical fallacy trying to get people to think that US Aid is terrible. Their claim was that US Aid supposedly funded the college tuition of a terrorist, and even if that were true (TSV thinks not), TSV reminds us that's Argument By Anecdote. Going forward, TSV's going to try to remind himself that whatever the -trumpist- media claims about something, to believe the opposite. But in any case, TSV wonders why the -trumpist- media doesn't attack banana pancakes if -trump- attacks banana pancakes, and issues an Executive Order that banana pancakes are "woke." TSV doesn't think the word "woke" has any real meaning. He sees it as a placeholder phrase in place of an actual substantive argument for or against something. High school bullies will want to do in the school nerd with tape in the middle of his glasses by calling him "woke" on high school social media. Dumping him into the trash can is so 80s.

Monday, February 10, 2025

Tropical Soulvangelical's booing the booers. He has every reason to believe that at least half of those who are booing Taylor Swift after KC's loss in the Superbowl are a bunch of political plants, and he additionally believes that they really need to get a life. Though he separates them out from actual KC fans who are not happy with Taylor Swift having a relationship with one of their players, -trump- weighing in on the situation is a tipoff to TSV politically. So he thinks the booers need to get a life because he merely sees the Superbowl from a sports point of view, and Taylor Swift's celebrity from a musical point of view. He's happy enough that a team closer to where he lives won the Superbowl against KC being the favorite by 1.5 favoritism points. Where Taylor Swift is concerned, TSV isn't a particular fan of her music because of her overreliance on Autotune. The booers should only be booing her use of Autotune, not her politics. TSV's thinking at this point you might as well politicize buckwheat pancakes. He's thinking of that scene in Tulips with Bernadette Peters and Gene Kaplan where she asks him if his lack of enjoyment in life extends to buckwheat pancakes, and he says, no I don't enjoy pancakes, not even buckwheat. So with all this doomscrolling over the state of democracy, TSV wants the public to weigh in on whether it makes sense to politicize anything that moves, just because -trump- lost in court over the attacks on the Treasury and Usaid, to name a couple TSV remembers offhand.

Tuesday, February 4, 2025

And now Tropical Soulvangelical gets to blame perhaps -both- crashes on Pete Hegseth, taking an opportunity vacated by the fatalists. TSV observes the fatalists leaving themselves vulnerable in a faux high road stance of, we must let the investigators investigate, which -of course- we should. But that left them vulnerable to -trump's- statement of blame because they themselves, perhaps under orders from Schumer's Home Office, backed away from making any comment. Not TSV, who is absolutely not beholden to a Home Office that overthrew Biden in 7/24, and he also sees the fatalists deciding not to keep on criticizing Pete Hegseth regarding drinking and sexual assault after Hegseth was approved in the Senate solely because, TSV observes, of the You People stance of Mark Wayne Mullin. So what TSV heard Mark Wayne Mullin say as per why Pete Hegseth -should- be approved of is, You People Word Salad You People Word Salad You People Word Salad. That's pretty much the reason why anybody should be approved for anything no matter what. Is there anyone on the Human Services Committee who's going to go, RFK Jr must be approved because You People Word Salad? Tulsi Gabbard must be approved because You People Word Salad. So apparently the fatalists gave into Mark Wayne Mullin when they stopped criticizing Pete Hegseth once Hegseth got approved. But that doesn't stop TSV, who's not beholden to the fatalists, or Schumer's Home Office that gives them their marching orders, so here's why TSV blames Pete Hegseth for the plane crashes. TSV sees three hours prior to the first plane crash Pete Hegseth retiring to the bars after a hard first week at work at the Department Of Defense, and he was already on his third beer when he notes a cute blonde at the other end of the bar, and staggering and slurring he says, I don't care if there's a Black Hawk helicopter under the auspices of my own Defense Department that's hovering around Reagan's International Airport possibly risking a mid-air collision with an airliner in an unspeakable tragedy, how about you and I go back to my place? TSV sees the first crash influence the instance of the second crash because of the concepts of copycatting and race-to-the-bottom in today's fatalistic age. TSV's last question here is, how is Congress doing working on -trump's- doomsday legislation? He asks because it's all been about -trump- and his tariffs and not about bills going through Congress.

In another rebuke to the fatalists, Tropical Soulvanglical criticizes yet another clickbait video title partially reading, "Who's going to stop him now (?)". His answer to that is, we -all- did, albeit with some notable exceptions, during the funding freeze crisis. TSV estimates it being roughly six hours from when the freeze was announced/implemented to when it was taken back because of all the outrage garnered across the country. The country demonstrated in that moment the kind of response it was capable of, and how weak -trump- is in giving into the response rather than doubling down in a fit of My Way Or The Highway. Everybody, that is, except for Schumer, is TSV's reading. Hakim Jeffries initiated an emergency mode among House Donkeys to work the phone banks accordingly along with non-profits that relied on the funding to do their jobs. But amidst the coverage, TSV heard -nothing- out of Schumer, and suspects that Schumer did yet another This Is Bad lip service PR announcement in the kind of philosophical weakness that a number of figures thus far laid on apparently all registered Donkey voters, considerably unfairly, because the registered voters, TSV doesn't think, don't subscribe to Schumer's pseudogandhism. TSV observes that it's this flawed philosophy that governs both Schumer's PR announcements and his undemocratic war on Biden of 7/24, and which TSV points out may very well still be going on right now despite lack of coverage to the effect. But where -trump- goes, TSV wonders if this is such an invincible Lex Luthor type figure, why -didn't- we get pushback from the guy accordingly? The answer TSV found laid in Rachel Maddow's observation that the administration is not good at the villainy it tries to play out, and which TSV predicted as far back as Wednesday November 6 that this would be the case when apparently everyone else was predicting Lex Luthor. TSV, by contrast, was predicting the incompetence of the Ant Hill Mob or Dick Dastardly, and he sees that as being confirmed thus far. The problem he saw coming was not a police state dictatorship as much as a stance of apathetic incompetence in times of need, which was unfortunately -also- borne out in their response to the first plane crash in 24 hours recently, though he also has a bad feeling of how they might have responded to the second crash as well. In the first crash at least, TSV has questions about where Pete Hegseth was and what he was doing at the time, since after all the coverage regarding the man's drinking and prediliction towards sexual assault TSV found it highly unlikely that we would just get a dial tone the moment after he set foot into the Pentagon for the first time as Secretary. This TSV wants us to cover in another base share.

-Now- he remembers! It's -trump- freeing the 1/6 people. We said an hour ago how Tropical Soulvangelical forgot what that "second" thing was he wanted to talk about, but maybe having it as a separate base share here made sense anyway. TSV observes that we knew all along that -trump- was going to free the 1/6 people, ever since Biden pardoned Hunter Biden. Biden knew that if he didn't pardon Hunter, along with the 1/6 Committee members, he wouldn't have a chance in full expectation of -trump- freeing the 1/6 people. Firstly, TSV wants to assure the public that if they're worried that the 1/6 people won't be held to account, don't worry, it's going to happen. A number of the 1/6 people will no doubt cause -other- crimes, not necessarily politically connected, and the prosecutors in those cases will make the case for maximum punishment in the sentencing phase by citing their participation in 1/6, and how committing crimes after 1/6 is an act of bad faith on their having been pardoned, because almost certainly those second crimes will end in conviction. But also as far as TSV's concerned, the legal commentators knew this pardon was coming, so he thinks that them waiting for it and -then- using the Schumerism of This Is Bad in talking about it on TV is kind of disengenuous. TSV's wondering if they really think -trump- cares what they have to say? Of course not, because Lions Don't Lose Sleep Over The Opinions Of Sheep. That, in turn, TSV observes, casts doubt on whether we really are in a dictatorship, partly because -trump- forgot to declare one as per an apparent campaign promise, and also because he's having to weather criticism and legal challenges unimaginable in Luveshenko's Belarus in light of a seventh term there. TSV sees -trump- as losing steam in not hearing -trump- attacking the criticism and legal challenges online. In fact, there was that one reporter who asked -trump- a pointed question to his face about freeing a 1/6 person who attacked a police officer, and -trump's- only response is, I'll look into it. In the past, TSV has seen -trump- saying, you know what you're problem is? You're a wise guy! People like you ought to have what's coming to you! That's what -trump- once said to George Stephanopoulos right to his face, but all we're hearing now is, I'll look into it. TSV's not sure what this changing tendency means or even if it means anything, but one thing he wants someone on Insurgent to talk about, including Lawrence O' Donnell, is the absurdity of the so-called Department Of Efficiency. He wants people to point out, so he himself doesn't have to, that this Department is not a real department. He's seeing it as merely a PR Office whereby Elon Musk announces his utopian visions like executives tend to do whom TSV sees as having too much time on their hands. It's not a Department that was approved by Congress, signed into law by a President, and funded on a regular basis each year. The Department of Defense, and the Department of Homeland Security, by contrast, are -real departments- as per definition. The Department Of Efficiency is no more a department than TSV's own Department Of Rice Pudding. Why doesn't Insurgent talk about it instead of letting Schumer bully them into making the Daily BABVA on things? Speaking of Insurgent, TSV wonders where we're at on Elon Musk buying Insurgent. Or is that another Get Rid Of The Penny type proposal that's likely not going to happen in reality?
So here's some more -trump- stuff Tropical Soulvangelical wants to expound on, though right now as of me the Happy Bachelor writing this, he mostly remembers the bit about the Inspectors General and not that second thing he wanted to talk about. So of course, generally speaking, it's a -bad- thing to have fired the IGs, but for some reason TSV's observed that only Lawrence O'Donnell and just about no-one else has pointed out that the firing was done illegally, and hence the IGs seem to TSV to have legal grounds to file proper lawsuits. The law calls for a firing of an IG to take place at least 30 days after announcement of such, which in turn has to contain actual substantive reasons for the firing. Both TSV and LOD failed to see either occur. But TSV has observed the fired IGs using BABVA on TV in response instead of filing a lawsuit, because he hasn't heard whether they filed lawsuits. Of course filing a lawsuit does kind of behoove the plaintiff to watch what they say in public just in case it can be held against them, and it's certainly possible that BABVA can be used against them, he's thinking. But even worse for the IGs TSV has observed is that the firings put the IGs themselves under an uncomfortable microscope. He's thinking that they could be taken to task for not adequately reined in -trump- during -trump's- first term, particularly those first two years before Congress switched party control, and hence the spotlight was mostly then taken off the IGs until recently. The reason why I the Bachelor believe this to be the case is solely because TSV doesn't remember the IGs weighing in on matters after 2018 when Congress was doing so, or at least there wasn't coverage. But the most serious unanswered question of all is, why didn't the IGs protest the undemocratically ousting of Biden in 7/24 by his own party? The expected answer is, not my jurisdiction, which TSV finds unfathomable because the IGs are just as American as -he- is, so how can they not have an opinion about it and not talk about it? Do they really think that condemning the overthrow of Biden is necessarily a serious overstep of their job descriptions? TSV's starting to have the same questions regarding Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger and TLP. Looking back, he's heard roaring silence from them regarding what happened to Biden in 7/24, and he also finds that inexplicable. Sure the undemocracy of -trump- is terrible, but so is the undemocracy of Schumer and Schiff in overthrowing Biden. You can't condemn one form of undemocracy, TSV thinks, and let another just slide like the way they seemed to have. Also, even though he sees AOC as being the one who will challenge Schumer in 2028 for the Senate, he still sees AOC as having the progressive stains of Ed Snowden and accusations of antisemitism during the crisis in Gaza. There being a ceaseful that has apparently held, or at least TSV hasn't heard otherwise on audio, hasn't made those kinds of unanswered questions go away. But while we're talking about audio, TSV -vaguely- remembers the BBC talk about the IG situation on Saturday morning, because the firings took place Friday evening. But he doesn't remember anyone else talking about it till -Monday- evening, so he's wondering why most outlets sat on it for a full 3 days, an entire weekend. Maybe they were mostly finding out who's going to be in the Superbowl. Maybe the Superbowl matchup was more important for pretty much everybody than the IG issue. But, dang, what was that second thing TSV wanted to talk about where he saw more holes than swiss cheese in people using BABVA in talking about it? Help him out here, people.

Tuesday, January 21, 2025

So here comes Inauguration Day 2. Looks as though Tropical Soulvangelical is going to be referring to -trump's- entire second term as One Big Inauguration, particularly if it turns out, as TSV suspects, there's very little -trump's- necessarily going to get done. TSV's already made the case as to why the Gulf Of Mexico will still be called the Gulf Of Mexico, but he wants to add to that. -If- the mapmakers are made to rename the Gulf Of Mexico, TSV believes that the phrase Gulf Of Mexico is going to become the name of the next hot indie band. TSV further contends that if -trump- still wants to be a dictator, he'll try to get Pam Bondi to criminally challenge said band in an attempt to erase the phrase Gulf Of Mexico from everybody's mental consciousness. Not even Bashar Al-Assad was ever able to do that to his people, nor Putin to his, so that ain't gonna happen here, TSV's hedging. But he wants to follow up on this two-sexes thing. He heard strains coming from FM Newsradio about how many of -trump's- executive orders will end being challenged in court, and hence not being executed immediately, to the apparent contradiction of the fatalists who seem to believe that -trump's- orders can't be questioned just because -trump- wants to be a dictator. The two-sex order is apparently being challenged accordingly on the basis of protection for trans people and non binary people, but what's more important for TSV is how the two-sex order is what -trump- intends to be a you-must-think-what-I-tell-you-to order which of course is the kind of thing that ought to laughed at. Same with the Gulf Of Mexico. -trump- -could- rename Denali back to Mt. McKinley because TSV's (mis)understanding of the naming of sites specifically within the U.S., particularly within the purview of the park service, is that the park service under the auspices of the Interior, now overseen by whom TSV understands is an anti-environmental ex-oil magnate, can make the name change easily enough. But it's still reverse- cancel culture against those living around the mountain that still will refer to it as Denali and will produce official signs to the same effect. Is -trump- going to get Pam Bondi to go after those people as well? All this is not even 1% of what TSV's seeing for the One Big Inauguration, so don't blame us. We voted Pro-Biden, and we are the 36%.
Can you guess what -trump- -didn't- say in his inaugural address? Do you know what four words you didn't hear? Tropical Soulvanglical was reading the cliff notes on Wikipedia, and never did they say that he ever said, "I'm a dictator now." TSV believes Schumer placed pressure on Kamala Harris to try to tell people that -trump- swore to become a dictator on Day One. It looks as though MLK day was Day One for -trump- despite it being a holiday, so he already broke his campaign promise of declaring dictatorship. Supposedly that's why roughly 50.3 percent of the electorate voted for him, maybe they -did- want a dictatorship, but the fact that he didn't declare dictatorship in so many words on Day One TSV thinks maybe that should have angered the -trump- hatters who came out in full force for the express purpose of hearing -trump- saying, "I'm a dictator now." In any case, TSV tells the fatalists, put -that- in your pipe and smoke it! In response and even -before- Day One took place, the fatalists tried to say, well, he -has- declared dictatorship but not in so many words, but that's really stretching it, and TSV sees it as moving the goal posts on the definition of declaration of dictatorship. But things like declaring there are only two sexes or let's rename the Gulf Of Mexico the Gulf Of America TSV finds really absurd for a number of reasons. For one thing you can't declare in an executive order that two plus two equals five just because -I- said so. Also, renaming a body of water isn't something you can just use an executive order on, because you need to go to whoever it is who's charged with what to name something. He seems to think that just because Google was there at the Inauguruation that Sergey Brin will somehow lean on the engineers at Google Maps to rename the Gulf Of Mexico because -trump- told him to. Google doesn't get to rename geographic features on the map. TSV's sure that OpenStreetMaps will likely forever and forever refer to that body of water as the Gulf Of Mexico no matter what -trump- says, though it might prompt an edit war on OSM, which TSV believes the Gulf Of Mexico will win. But he still doesn't think absurd orders like these by themselves amount to a dictatorship no matter what the fatalists say. What -does- amount to a dictatorship is TSV's observance of how Schumer and Schiff overrode the will of primary voters to pressure Biden out of the race in July24, and how we can never get that democracy back until Schumer and Schiff are driven out of office as political price to pay, and the schumerdonkeys are made to repent for what they did and allowing Schumer's home office to pressure them into something they should never have done. This TSV still intends to make happen via the primaries of 2026, and primarying out as many schumerdonkeys as possible in the House at least. It's with future elections that TSV will himself restore our democracy.

Tropical Soulvanglical got around to seeing the interview between Joe Biden and Lawrence O'Donnell, and his takeaways go beyond the fatalists' emphasis on Biden's concerns about big tech. Among other things, one thing TSV heard Biden say was Biden saying he regretted being heavier on the policy and lighter on the politics. But the implication TSV hears in that is that at age 82, Biden may be feeling like life's too short to be as concerned about earthly politics as about doing those things we're all supposed to be doing for one another, hence the policies bit. Sure, maybe if there was a little more emphasis on the politics for Biden, you won't have centrist Donkeys betraying their own democratic values to push Biden out of the race. Very honestly, TSV in regarding the interview will not forget July24 or the importance of there being a political price for the centrist Donkeys to place cynicism over faith. Biden, on the other hand, TSV sees as about faith and principle, and this gets to TSV's other takeaway. He believes that all those who -still- "hate" Biden just because they hate Biden, not the hardcore trumpists who will hate Biden anyway, but the young anarchists who seem to believe there's nothing to believe in should tune in without pride or prejudice to the interview, because TSV thinks they may understand why Biden had to do what he did, and maybe get more mature appreciation. Values such as faith and principle as per the two men TSV saw on his open-source lounge laptop screen he thinks are more the exception to the rule in terms of how many people TSV sees -really- holding and following in 2025. TSV is even more concerned about that than a tech oligarchy or the centrist Donkeys not being held accountable, including also -trump- being held accountable, because it's lack of faith and principle he sees as leading to things such as oligarchy and cynicism and personal corruption. Unfortunately TSV isn't sure that it's not too late for Gens Y and Z to really understand what that means, so he's looking to Gen Alpha, and if necessary, Gens Beta and Gamma, to really exemplify those values as we march forward.

Saturday, January 18, 2025

Biden did his farewell address which Tropical Soulvanglical saw as significantly covered on Insurgent, including a 48 minute interview with Lawrence O'Donnell which TSV wants to see more of in detail. Biden talked about the dangers of an emerging oligarchy, but TSV has observed that the oligarchy had already existed between 10 and 20 years in tech with full blessing from the 2000s progressive movement many of whom TSV saw going to the -trumpists-. The -real- oligarchy TSV thinks the country should be vigilant of is, of course, the oligarchy of the -trump lite- Schumercrats in having overthrown Biden as a sitting President and against the will of primary voters. Never Forget July24. TSV sees the -trumpists- as in fact a little easier to deal with than the Schumercrats, because the -trumpists- are more visible and out there than ever before. TSV figures it's only a matter of time before the Schumercrats will reach the same stage, and it wouldn't surprise him that a number of -them- would radicalize in the same way he sees Big Tech and Ed Snowden on the -trumpist- side. So for every -trumpism- that takes place and gets solved this coming Monday and after, TSV seeks to pair each one with a Schumerism for full perspective accordingly. He saw Insurgent go craven over oh no -trump- says he'll start doing X on day one and oh no that must mean starting Monday (!) despite the fact that Monday is also a national holiday so TSV expects a lot of the militants to want to take that day off to sleep in and watch Netflix all day. TSV wants to make a donation to a charity before he talks about the fires in LA, because he saw how Elon Musk politically and mean spiritedly attacked the fires in LA in such a way that TSV's convinced that the world's richest man did not even donate even one penny to any charity trying to help people there. But TSV will say this. That bit on Kimmel where someone gets caught doing an AI fake of the Hollywood sign itself going on fire TSV takes to mean that that steals the thunder beforehand of a cynical visual news person wanting to be the first one to take a picture of that for real, and who has gained likely unwarranted permission to go into dangerous areas accordingly in the opposite direction of the evacuations. He does peruse Insurgent's video titles at least, and 90 percent of them he finds logical holes in enough for it not to be worth his while, those kinds of yeah-but moments. He will always love his country, but he still makes the point of being critically thinking about what others claim outside of those basic headlines he hears each morning on newsradio, and knows when it's just someone's opinion, and a craven or conventional or outright absurd one at that. TSV wants to go after the word "woke" next when he gets a chance, because he saw that with the fires of LA.

Tuesday, January 7, 2025

It's 1/7, the day after the anniversary of 1/6. As such, Tropical Soulvangelical wants to remind people that 1/6 didn't end on 1/6. It ended in July 24, so now that it's 1/7, TSV sees it appropriate enough to correct the record on things. He saw Insurgent's headlines talking about how the elephantines have a selective amnesia regarding 1/6. Sure that's true, but TSV sees the flip side of donkeys having a selective amnesia regarding July 24, and how we've pretty much ensured a dictatorship by -somebody- by undemocratically defying the will of primary voters in pressuring Biden to exit the race in that time. For some reason, TSV sees conventional culture as having an irretrievably odd definition of democracy, in that they seem to believe that primary elections don't count as elections. Essentially democracy is -only- something that you do every four years in November with respect to choosing a President, and apparently not inherent in any other elections, such as school board elections TSV's expecting to come up for his state and town about May or so, or for that matter housing board elections like the one TSV saw posted in the billboard at the Bachelor Boulevard North bus stop. Remember people saying things last year like, if the wrong person wins, there will be no more elections? Apparently, they seem to believe that housing board and school board elections don't count as elections, and yet TSV's expecting both this year, so TSV asks, how can you say you're a democracy in the first place if you're trying to "renegotiate" the very definition of democracy? There's any number of countries that don't have elections of any kind, so TSV figures what they wouldn't do to even have housing board elections, and here we are in the free world taking housing board elections for granted. So TSV admonishes the donkeys, particularly the schumerdonkeys that took the side of Schumer and Schiff and hence have no gumption about overthrowing Biden, and reminds them not to limit discussions about democracy to their own selective spin as they once again use 1/6 as a sociological football. 1/7, and TSV hasn't heard a peep out of them regarding the subject of democracy, only otherwise legitimate complaints about congestive pricing.
