Tropical Soulvangelical's not sure he particularly cares whom he shocks when he says he doesn't see any immediate evidence that Colbert got cancelled for political reasons. He went on his activist channel to provide support to Colbert and his family, encouraging him to look beyond the vagaries of CBS, including their wanting to cancel the Star Trek franchise. He told him that any one of us can run a business like CBS better than those currently in charge. This is a network, TSV observes, that thinks nothing to showing graphic footage of school shootings like Parkland Florida without even a warning to the audience or the victims' families and he remembers CBS getting sued by Kobe Bryant's widow. She won that suit with respect to emotional distress when they showed the charred bodies of Bryant and his daughter after the helicopter accident. So TSV's thinking that if you don't think this is a network that makes sense for Colbert to just ditch CBS altogether like the way Howard Stern ditched regular talk radio for SiriusXM, he wants you to consider the above. So as per the theory of a political conspiracy? TSV's hoping for substantive evidence to arrive in time, but thus far all he has is Bidenhater Adam Schiff with a video caption reading [paraphrased] did CBS cancel Colbert over politics(?) I think we know the answer [end-paraphrase]. The phrase "I think we know the answer" TSV views as a poor substitute for substantial proof of something solely because you don't have that proof. TSV clearly sees this as an "extraordinary claims merit extraordinary evidence" situation. After all, those few scientists who go to a Ted Talks saying, "Is there intelligent life in outer space, I think we know the answer" TSV sees as getting laughed out of Ted Talks (he's hoping that Ted Talks's standards haven't sunk to the level of CBS). But TSV holds out hope we can find actual evidence instead of instances of emotional appeal that LogicallyFallacious.com warned him about. He's open to possibilities, including how he's now pretty sure that there was a second shooter on the grassy knoll (he feels they made a strong enough case) despite the fact that no one can contend that the second shooter necessarily delivered the fatal shot. So until then, TSV encourages Colbert to look to other sources like YouTube and Comedy Central proper among others. Colbert's capital of credibility outshines that of CBS by at least a hundred times. After the sex scandals of Les Moonves at least, TSV's having a hard time seeing CBS as the one time home of Walter Cronkite.
