We're going to get a new episode up either Saturday or Tuesday.  The Heir wants to make use of the Memorial Day weekend for when he sees Yumeka and Carmen there, who are also going with us.  Saturday where we are is supposed to only be in the 60s, but the Heir also wants to buy some tracks online.  He's going to see what he feels like doing, whether it's getting those tracks OR getting a new episode up.  Not both, because he feels like that's being Type A.

The Heir's *very* disappointed in Main Team One.  Slump shlump.  First it's the Giants, then it's the Nets, and now Main Team One.  And he doesn't buy the argument of lose the battle win the war.  When you lose 7 out of 9 on the road, you're losing both the battle *and* the war.  And you can't win a war if you don't win at least 51% of your battles.  80% if you want to keep first in the AL East.  In terms of local teams, he feels good about the Rangers' prospects, but he doesn't follow hockey.

Heir thinks they probably should have rephrased it.

The Heir is considering drawing the Prophet Muhammad on a regular basis after the shooting at the Let's Draw Muhammad Event in Texas.  He's not going to wait until they verify that the shooters were in fact associated with Isis.  He doesn't believe in insulting other people's religions, but Isis has made Muhammad into a political football with their practice of killing people if they do as much as cough, and cutting people's heads off if they have a bad day.  They're better known as the Headcutters, and the Heir believes the best way for citizens to deal with them is to do the exact thing they're saying you shouldn't do.  After all, Isis can't shoot all 350 million plus Americans (plus much of Europe).  An "example-setter" won't be good enough, because it'll just make us draw Muhammad even more.  America.  Land of the Muhammad drawers @ #isissucks #fisis #downwithisis #wearecharlie

The Heir was saying between episodes that Brooklyn is just not the kind of team that wins must-win games.  So at this point dropped from post-season they're pretty much a must-sell team.  Prokorov's strategy of having a revolving door at the head coach's office is a failure, so it's time for another owner to step in and rebuild the team, so the team can really become a contender, and hence debunk Brooklyn's chronic doubters.

"I estimate the team's worth at this point to be about three dollars."

The Heir momentarily had wanted to talk about Baltimore in an upcoming episode, but he's so bummed out about what happened that he's decided against it, until sometime in the future.  That's not to say he doesn't believe people in general shouldn't talk about it, but personally he just feels kind of sensitive about it.  So instead I the Mentor suggested to him that he talk about all those mean and neurotic dogs that give him problems on the sidewalk when he goes out walking in Blands Township to people apparently he knows there.  That'll certainly elicit a response, and then he can delight in the kind of social cynicism that's dominated up to 93% of his complaints about the world.

The Heir's pretty sure Brooklyn's post-season hopes are dashed with this loss in Milwaukee.  The odds are against them.  The other teams vying for a playoff spot are pulling ahead real fast, so once Brooklyn loses against Chicago tomorrow, that's the end.  And then all they can hope for is a consolatory win on Wednesday.  The Heir very often finds himself celebrating when his team wins the last three games with nothing left to play for.

So on the subject of Brooklyn and Milwaukee, the Heir feels as if Brooklyn needs to do more to unsweeten Jason The Kidd's revenge on Prokorov for firing him.  Sure Jason Kidd rebuilt Milwaukee from scratch, and while you got to credit him for that, Brooklyn will only lose face even more with each loss against a Kidd-coached team.  So any currently Kidd-coached team, whether that's Milwaukee or someone else, that's the new rivalry.  The Heir was happy to see Brooklyn defeat Portland, because they *never* defeat Portland.  So Portland, check.  Sacramento, check.  The current Kidd-coached team, unfinished business.  So it'll have to be 2015-2016 that Brooklyn needs to put Jason Kidd's sense of revenge to an end, and justify his firing so long ago at this point.

The Upcoming Internet Outage In A Post-Radio Shack World.  OK, a few notes here.  As of this writing, there are still some or many Radio Shack stores (at least for now), we guess because that was that part of the liquidation that allowed for that.  Also, the weather is getting better, so that will fly in the face of the polar vortex that we had to deal with when the episode was being made.  Now with that out of the way, this episode is so named because the Heir is concerned that Radio Shack being seen as a has-been will effectively kill the engineering expertise that keeps the Internet running, so once the outage occurs we're basically screwed.  Looks like the Cigar Assistant was right after all!  This is also the episode where we take aim at affirmative consent, the belief that North Korea *did not* cause the Sony hack, and Roger Replacement once again.  Roger's lieutenant Robbie Replacement stands by the bleeding edge tech in the failed GPS unit that stranded him in Bachelor Borough.  We also discuss the tragedy at the French newspaper, and Jon Stewart leaving the Daily Show.  On audio (Play All): https://www.mixcloud.com/audiobachelor2/playlists/the-happy-bachelor-1/

Heir was at Bland Barns the other night, and he giddily came upon a price Barns had to pay for its obsession with visual. This is one of those giant TVs to pressure you to buy something you probably don't want, and apparently it  crashed earlier in the day, with the cat out of the bag and everything!  The hacker shoppers now know what computer system is being used, and can probably parse that dang hexidecimal number indicating the reason why the system crashed.  Probably ran out of memory.

Heir (offscreen): "Heh heh heh!"

Sorry, people, no episode tonight.  It'll probably either Wednesday or Saturday.  We want to get it up before Easter, though.

The Heir feels for the victims' families of the crashed flight {#4U9525}, and that it's a tragedy, but he wants to remind people that this is a freak instance statistically.  As far as he knows, air travel is still the safest form of travel, in terms of yearly casualties.  Statistically, cars are the worst.  Now, improving accommodations on flights is something the airlines can work on, the Heir thinks, even on short flights, so that the passengers don't have to retain their cynicism about being sardine-canned on airplanes just for that extra 10% in margins the airlines want to make.  The Heir doesn't want to make this a discussion for a Bachelor episode on audio, because he doesn't think that substantively there's much to discuss.  Investigators have determined that the crash was caused by a co-pilot with emotional problems, period, as far as the Heir's concerned.  So he doesn't think that in week 2 there should be this much coverage of the co-pilot as kind of a soap opera.  The Heir counts his lucky stars he went with audio for the information, because doubtless now 24 hour networks on visual are like round-the-clock co-pilot's problems.  Of course now they can't say that the airplane ended up in a black hole, but it seems like their brains did.  So the Heir's question is, why don't they ditch talking about the co-pilot in favor of something more relevant?  Like essentials economics?  And whether or not young adults need to be sexually active by a certain age?

"It's not that important of an issue, visual.  Talk about essential economics instead!"

FYI, we're planning on a new episode to come out within the next week or so.  And we're not done with posting shares consistent with the four pillars, and stuff the Heir wants to complain about.
