The Heir wanted to talk about this one for well over a week now.  Like most people, he's appalled by at least a still of that one video of that suspect being beaten in New York.  He was concerned in case that might lead to a rollback of compliance enforcement all across the board, from New York into Bachelor Blue State.  Thankfully that doesn't seem to have happened.  People are encouraged to call or text a special hotline in case they believe there was excessive force used in compliance enforcement.  That's how it currently is in BBS.  This stands in contrast to New York where the Heir sees a direct threat to enforcement through this talk of "minders" taking over the role of cops in enforcing compliance.  His low confidence in human nature *ever* really doing the right thing indicates that the so-called minders, if they're ever appointed, would likely be ignored by the violators, and you'd have to get the cops in there anyway.  He strongly doubts that most people in that one neighborhood where that beating took place would ever regard or respect a "minder."  He wonders if an increasing consistent amount of non-compliance in both that neighborhood and the others eventually led to the beating incident.  Sure, two wrongs don't make it right, but if a cop issues a friendly reminder to people in a given neighborhood to maintain a 6-foot distance, or not have large gatherings, and people ignore that reminder, the cop's ability to command respect is at stake.  He might as well not be a cop if that happens, the Heir points out.  So he's thinking that since failure to comply will result in X, and there was likely a failure to comply, so X happened, whether that's a forcible breakup of a gathering or a physical escort of people to maintain social distancing, and the people were like "oh how dare you," only because they may very well be out-and-out cop-haters, where does the cop go from there?  Most cops will consult with their respective precincts as to what leverage they'd have in case of an impasse, but there are those very few bad actors who will take matters into their hands, and not a good way.  And that's what the Heir believes happened two weeks ago.  Keep in mind that all we have to go on is that phone video showing the actual beating, and not all the events that led up to it.  Also, the Heir wonders, did the cop have his body camera turned on or not?  If he had it turned off against policy for officers, that should figure into either a complaint process, or even proceedings in a criminal court.  But since it's two weeks later, and the media news cycle has expired on the incident, don't expect any meaningful followup until months down the road.  The Heir's hoping it'll be sooner, so we'll have answers to some unanswered questions.

It's been ten days since Minnesota and Michigan reported spikes in the number of positive cases, but the Heir noticed that it was just over two weeks before then that those anti-lockdown protests started happening.  He sees this as likely proof that the refusal of protestors to abide by social distancing guidelines is primarily responsible for upcoming increases in cases in the Midwest, the West and the South.  He wishes that the Insurgent News Network would discuss how governors in those states are making reopening decisions based on the protests and not on the science.  Once they reopen the states and the cases get even far worse, there needs to be followup protests pushing *for* a lockdown.  The Heir remembered last week about that one counterprotestor that the media just happened to mention, but he doesn't believe there's been enough coverage regarding the counterprotestors, so he believes there are far more of them than people know.  It also doesn't help that the progressives are going to largely refuse to organize counterprotests, and instead drop the counterprotestors like a lead pipe and not give them the support they need and deserve.  The counterprotestors speaking truth to power are essentially on their own, while the progressives continue to berate ordinary people for not blindly taking the progressive side in every dang thing they can think of.  The Heir did catch AOC meeting with Elizabeth Warren on Youtube regarding essential workers, but that meeting did not make the Heir dislike AOC less, or make him see her as less snide and condescending.  That's his main takeaway, but because both participants were facing their respective Zoom cameras, it's really hard to discern body language for more specifics.  If AOC and Elizabeth Warren were to meet in person, he could tell whether they looked at each other while talking, or if one of them or both looked away and toward a viewing audience.  He did feel as if Warren and AOC had a parallel conversation going in which each comment was not a direct response to the comment before it, but was a series of comments on what each person was going to say anyway.  This was with the one minute video.  The Heir did not bother catching the five minute video, since he has better things to do, like still working on our DIY Third Pillar Music Player.  He's hoping that once we get to a good point in that, we'll at least release last year's unreleased episode on audio.  We do have a general plan to get back on audio.  We're not doing base shares permanently, but base shares like this one is a good way for us to keep everyone up to speed while we're waiting for the right time to go back on audio.

"One placard suggestion I have for the counterprotestors is something to the effect of, 'Tell my dead aunt that the coronavirus isn't real.'"

Here's a sign the Heir's found that we're not learning *anything* from the Coronacrisis.  He happened upon a business minute on audio, on terrestrial radio, and they were talking about e-signatures.  This was during the weekend, and the Heir was hoping they'd talk about what market numbers ended at for the past week (they didn't).  But they were clearly using forced obsolescence to intimidate people who still write checks to resort to e-signatures instead.  The way the Heir knows this is when the guy on the radio said something to the effect that people who still write checks do so "because of inertia."  The guy couldn't bring himself to say what he likely really meant, that people who write checks somehow have no good reason for doing so.  He probably couldn't say that, because the great check writers of America would tear him a new one for the personal reasons *they* have for writing checks, and only using online payments in case of emergency.  Those personal reasons would include a strong adherence to tradition and principle.  The reason why the Heir connects this to the Coronacrisis is because forced obsolescence in the 2010s was highly tied to personal corruption, which lulled society into a hubristic false sense of security, and made us vulnerable to things like the Coronacrisis.  Now why would a business minute on the radio issue an editorial in all but name?  The Heir believes it's the influence big tech's marketing consulting firms have on the media, that they put pressure on the media to do some of big tech's advertising for them, and mostly certainly the real dickish stuff they couldn't ever place in an actual formal advertisement.  It's a form of misinformation, and the Heir was hoping that the great fact checkers of the world would pick it up.  But they're not casting a wide enough net.  So between the lockdown protestors and a continuation of a campaign of forced obsolescence on audio, here's the question the Heir has for the entire world: if we don't learn anything from the current crisis, will we ever?  It's just not a good sign for humanity.

"They say that when we get through all this, we'll be stronger than ever.  Looks more like we'll be *stupider* than ever."

The Heir wanted to go after AOC and Michael Moore for their renewed condescension after the defeat of Bernie Sanders.  But when he was coming across his YouTube feed to see what videos he wanted to add for entertainment purposes mostly (information he still tries to get through analog audio), he found a thumbnail that made him even madder.  The thumbnail was titled "Who's Left" and portrayed Bernie Sanders in the middle of a spectrum, with Elizabeth Warren and the other Donkey candidates on the right.  The implication of what they were trying to say through the thumbnail was clear, but the Heir saw it as part of the progressive pomposity he was seeing in AOC and Michael Moore.  They should thank their lucky stars that Trump is going down the drain, so that they look better compared to him.  This is how the Heir sees it as a stalking horse, and it's what he saw the progressives doing with that Al-Anon (whatever) conspiracy group.  They try to find the craziest "conservative" group they come across, just so that no-one see just how bad *they* are.  But the Heir said sorry, but not-as-bad-as is not the same thing as particularly good.  Granted the Heir disagreed with Elizabeth Warren on South Korea, but he still has respect for her, he still follows her, and he still sees her as smart and decent post-election.  He wishes AOC and Michael Moore can learn from that after their guy Bernie Sanders' defeat, particularly in Michigan, and which started the downward spiral for Sanders, as the Heir had observed.  But what did we get instead?  AOC going after all the other Donkeys in talking about the failures of Congress.  The Heir sees that phrase clearly as code for the Donkeys For The People, and not so much the Elephantine Elitists.  So much for "unity."  And that guy Michael Moore.  Keep in mind the Heir's looking at this stuff from the thumbnail alone.  Leeanna cautioned him not to judge a book by its cover, but he sees judging a video by its thumbnail as a reasonable necessity in helping decide which video to add to his Watch Later.  He's never going to add a video whose thumbnail he finds offensive in some manner, because the one with Michael Moore has him saying that he asks all Americans what kind of country do they want in the future.  The Heir doesn't believe Moore has any right asking that, because it's not for him to ask ordinary citizens tough questions, as much as the other way around.  One tough question the Heir has for Michael Moore is, what could have he done differently to make Bernie Sanders win the nomination and why did he fail to do help Sanders accordingly?  Even now, the Heir's still waiting for an answer.

The Heir agrees that Trump should never have abolished the Pandemic council, but he sees that as largely bad optics politically.  No-one's made the case that things would necessarily be any different if the council still existed, and the Heir sees that as because of a couple of reasons.  Firstly, he doesn't see the council as making recommendations that are any different from what Dr. Fauci and his colleagues across the country had made.  We'd still be wearing masks.  We'd still be practicing social distancing.  We'd still have to contend with stay-at-home executive orders.  And we'd probably still get the same protestors who will utterly defeat all our efforts, and that's actually our biggest hindrance to defeating Covid-19, since obviously a chain is only as strong as its weakest link.  Secondly, the Heir observes that most of the rest of the world is also wearing masks, and doing social distancing, and initiated a lockdown or a stay-at-home move.  A U.S.-only council would never have been able to make it unnecessary for the other countries to do any of that stuff.  However, Trump still sucks.  The Heir still sees him as a criminal, and reminds the media that he is still an Impeached President.  Him not being convicted in the Senate did not in any way "undo" the impeachment, so the progressives should not despair in somehow thinking that it did.

The Heir's worried that these lockdown protestors will end up causing a spike in casualties, both life-wise and economic.  That one person who survived Covid-19 the Heir praises for essentially telling the protestors to stop whining like that guy did about getting fertilizer, but he doesn't think telling them to stop whining is good enough.  The Heir has noticed that the protestors are fragrantly violating EO's and social distancing orders, and in doing so it doesn't seem likely enough to him how they can *not* respread the virus to others.  Because here's the thing.  The Heir agrees that the lockdown like in Bachelor Blue State is a PITA.  He gets that.  But the way he sees it, if you keep up your best efforts in the weeks to come, all that stuff would be able to open sooner than later.  So maybe that one guy who wants his fertilizer will end up having to wait years for it instead of weeks, and with the fertilizer the Heir sees holes in that guy's argument big enough to drive a truck through.  So the guy says he either can't get fertilizer or he's somehow not allowed to.  He could always order it online, since the EO isn't going to stop him doing so.  The Heir himself received more parts for our Third Pillar Player even when the online stores have made it a priority to get PPE's shipped, and he's grateful that some parts arrived sooner than later.  So the guy could order it online, but if he really needs it yesterday, he could go to his local Home Depot or Lowes or whatever hardware/gardening stores there are in his area.  OK sure they might have to ask him to wait outside if they've reduced the customer capacity of their stores, and he might have to wear a mask.  But at least he'll get the fertilizer he's looking for.  The Heir also noticed in one pic of protestors apparently scrabbling at the state house in one of those protest states, there was a guy with a Guy Fawkes mask.  That the Heir does *not* see as a coincidence, because guess who else wore those masks back in the day?  The Anonymous hacking group, and the similarities Anonymous shares with the protestors the Heir sees as recklessness and narcissism.  Anonymous already helped Ed Snowden destroy America politically, and now they seem to seek to destroy America's viability.  But the Heir's not going to take it, and he's seriously contemplating cutting loose those people we know at that beach conformant with Leeanna's and Filipa's preferred dress code who have historically rationalized and apologized for such groups.  The Heir sees the protestors as already guilty of some kind of second degree manslaughter, and he cannot abide by people at the beach he expects will rationalize the protestors.  That's nothing short of immoral, and the Heir just cannot take it anymore.  It's not even about politics, because he and the beach people can disagree about Trump and Biden and AOC and stuff, but this time it's about the health security of the country.  It's just not open to "opinion" as far as the Heir's concerned, and he's not going to waste time even listening to someone who pretends it is, let alone try to have a discussion with them.

"So in the words of Star Trek characters Jean-Luc Picard, and Quark of the spinoff series Deep Space Nine, 'the line must be drawn here.  This far and no further.'"

The Heir's reasonably sure, about 90%, that no one he and we know were at that one makeshift cover concert a couple weeks ago at Yohohoandabottleofrum Township about 10 miles away from our favorite beach conformant with Sonya's and Naomi's preferred dress code.  Many people we know at the beach like to retreat to small scale music venues, often bars, to listen to a cover band play.  That's why the Heir was real concerned, and he doesn't feel the need to get me the Mentor talk about how the participants at that one event acted like real jerks.  It's common knowledge by now.  So the Heir skimmed the beach bulletin board, and no-one there indicated they were at that event.  What a relief.

Here's the Heir's followup on our tendency as Americans to debase ourselves in favor of another country.  What the Heir see is that each country we debase ourselves for skips ahead of us on those countdown lists that matter.  The Heir has heard very vaguely that South Korea is now getting into trouble with their supplies, because they didn't prioritize and ended up testing every dang person in the country.  That exercise proved unsustainable and not very smart, and yet a week ago we debased ourselves in front of South Korea.  So now here's the countries the Heir sees as the most economically and reputationally powerful in the world in order: China, Germany, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea.  So where does the U.S. fit into that list?  Well, the Heir sees us at tied for 10th place along with the UK, Japan and Canada.  At some point that just has to end.  The Heir saw a Youtube documentary about how the Apollo Program gave us global greatness in the world 50 years ago, and now we are the *least great* country in the world.  That's got to change.  Not only do we have to catch up with China and Germany and Russia in all the lists that matter, but we then have to run all the others into the ground in some way to remind them that it's going to be time for them to pay for the suit.  Oh yeah, and just today we've debased ourselves in favor of Taiwan of all places, despite the fact that the U.S. cannot even recognize Taiwan as a country in fear of raising the ire of China.

"I don't care how much China and Germany and Russia get lionized for their superiority, we in the U.S. are still better on principle than all those put together.  We're better than this.  We really are.  Because this could be the eve of the renewal of American Greatness.  Or at least it had better be."

Despite all the Heir's gotten me the Mentor to post on our shares base regarding the coronavirus, he's cognizant of the fact that people died, and there's social and economic chaos that's been caused.  So he sees it as unhelpful that mainstream media themselves are attacking the experts by obsessing over what the experts said in late January and early February.  This was just before the first case of community transmission after American tourists in China were airlifted back in the U.S. and put in quarantine.  At the time the media spread a lot of hysteria over the coronavirus, and the Heir has registered his criticisms of that below.  A number of experts, including Anthony Fauci, stepped forward to say as paraphrased, "at this time the risk to the public is low."  But now the media's attacking them for having said that, making references to their "messaging."  That's the media saying, see we told you so.  But the Heir proclaims that the media is wrong in *their* messaging on this one.  He remembers a criticism Rachel Maddow made about the media on political matters that even if the media was *accidentally* correct about a certain thing, they're wrong for being so certain.  So here the Heir believes the media is still wrong for being certain that the coronavirus would become a pandemic.  Now it is, but that reveals the media criticisms of the experts' "messaging" as being no more than hindsight equaling 20/20.

The Heir believes we in the U.S. are debasing ourselves patriotically (or unpatriotically rather) by exalting South Korea's response to the coronavirus with extensive testing.  He believes the comparison was made as a criticism of Trump, but he doesn't believe South Korea really earns as many brownie points as the American debasers seems to believe.  Sure South Korea's doing testing, but they too lack a vaccine or a cure to the virus, and they don't appear as aware of there being multiple strains in the future as we do.  Also, the Heir believes our paucity in resources has made us try to act more of a community in terms of goodwill companies and non-profits pitching in in making sure that at least Bachelor Blue State has increasingly sufficient PPE's to meet the demand.  We've deployed the Army Corps of Engineers to build hospitals from the ground up to try to absorb positive cases, and we're opening multiple testing sites.  We had to do this all from scratch, and that's something the Heir as seeing South Korea not really understanding all that well.  They've basically had their solutions handed to them on a silver platter, and once that approach fails the Heir believes it's the U.S. that will pull far ahead of South Korea, and it'll be South Korea that will in turn exalt the U.S. in its efforts made thus far.  Or at least Bachelor Blue State.  But the bottom line is that if you've got everything handed to you on a silver platter, you learn nothing from the experience, and you're more vulnerable than those who had to use their elbow grease and their ingenuity to solve the problem at hand.  So this is how the Heir actually disagrees with Elizabeth Warren's apparent exaltation of South Korea, reflecting an exaltation on the part of apparently other political figures.

A lot to unpack with where the Heir's been coming from in the past week.  Even though again the Heir's a Nevertrumper for the point of view of law and justice, not only does he see it nonconstructive for the progressives to be blaming Trump for everything, he feels like it's a distraction from the progressives' own culpability with the situation.  He looks back to just the day after Sandy onto Ed Snowden Day of June 6, 2013, and it's clear to him the progressives had learned absolutely nothing from Sandy.  The progressives rallied around Ed Snowden in 2013.  They got with "disruptions" and forced obsolescence, and one thing having to replace another with big tech in 2014.  They got with Love Your Job and the red herring slogan argument of The Power Of Positive Thinking in 2015.  So the Heir takes no pleasure in pointing out how now the chickens are coming back home to roost with all that personal corruption of the 2010's.  He's wondering whether the progressives being holed up like the rest of us for weeks at a time will get them to finally learn and gain some sort of conscience.  Again like he got me the Mentor the write here a couple weeks ago or so, he doesn't think it should have to take a Jonestown Flood to get people to adhere to just plain common sense.  It shouldn't have to take a Noah's Ark Flood either.  So once the pandemic is declared over by the global health groups, whenever that's going to be, expect people to once again hoot and holler about the "greatness" of humanity.  The Heir reads that as, yeah, great for screwing up and not much else.

"Nature needs us like it needs a root canal."

The one phrase the Heir has the utmost contempt for is The New Normal.  People are going to keep using it with the media (particularly visual), but the Heir would prefer a more realistic phrase such as Necessarily Evil Daily Routine.  There's a difference between normal and routine, and the explanation derives from old fashioned common sense.  Because the Heir sees nothing "normal" about not being able to get toilet paper, except online at an RV survivalist store.  He's pretty sure their RV paper won't cause problems here at the Swank Lounge, but he has to wait till Wednesday after this shares base share or so until it arrives.  Marco's grandmother has offered to share some of hers in case push comes to shove.  But the Heir also sees nothing normal about there not being NBA games to tune into on audio, specifically through the old school AM dial.  Maybe a week from now LeBron James and Spencer Dimwitty will post a one on one online they had for the fans craving the court and the magic movement of the ball.  That gets multiple rewinds to see how the ball got to where it got to go.  If anything it keeps those guys in shape in case the NBA picks up again a month from now or so.  Because if most people will all end up at home for a month, the last thing they want to get with on audio or online is the coronavirus.  People need to have a distraction, and the Heir expects most people to not be able to handle a prolonged national quarantine very well.  People will break curfews and not care if they end up in a cell, because at least they get to change their surroundings at home.  And are they going to tell people not to go to the park once the weather gets warmer?  Because once the coronavirus goes away, the Heir expects most people to end up with permanent cabin fever that no amount of outdoor activity can ever successfully treat.  He believes we'll keep paying for this thing for years to come.

"Most people will end up like that constantly distressed baby duck whose mother never came back to him in time.  Maybe that's why people found religion after 9/11."

So I the Mentor thought that the Heir had to recant some things he said about where we're going with the Coronavirus, but then he came back to say he's *not* recanting.  In fact, he said, he's *doubling down.*  Hey if it works for Giuliani, maybe it should work for the Heir.  But having said that, today just did not feel like a normal day for the Heir at Bland Barns Catering Counter.  Elsewhere in the shop they've completely ran out of toilet paper, and a lot of sliced raw meats.  But many other items still remained in the shop, like milk and yogurt.  So why toilet paper and not milk?  He picked up a few items after his shift, but he still needs to get some toilet paper for the Swank Lounge.  Last night the NBA said they were suspending the rest of the season, and apparently today (the Heir still needs to verify this through audio) the other leagues said they were also suspending games, like the NHL, MLB and NCAA.  But if we were to have an Italy-style nationwide quarantine, people will be stuck at home with nothing to do, because they won't have any games to turn to on audio.  A big reason why sports still exist is to provide a welcome distraction from how completely wrong the Heir believes the world is.  And you can only play Solitaire and Doom for so long.  And he still doubts that sports will ever come back.  They've basically torpedoed themselves economically, so that once they do attempt a comeback, most people have decided they're just through with sports in general.  Flaileef ought to be delighted by that, since he has long since maintained that sports are just a rechanneling of humanity's worst instincts, such that sports are just simply a metaphor for war at large.  We think he's totally wrong, and instead sports are a *pastime,* and the act of giving one's self physical and mental challenges to help maintain the health of the species.  We just don't want Flaileef's rhetoric to be reinforced, because it'll still be wrong.

"I still think people still have a right to be unhappy with their colleges, if those colleges shut down classes and activities for *any* reason."

Let's face it: the Heir is pretty much a Nevertrumper, specifically though from the point of view of law and justice, just not necessarily politically.  But he also has a disliking to AOC, and the self-righteous arrogance of the progressive movement he sees her as representing.  That arrogance showed itself in full force in Michigan when AOC stumped for Bernie in that state.  Bernie went onto to handily losing that state, so he should never have thought that AOC had any real appeal or power-base outside of her district or AOC-favorable elements in the media.  It's the price one pays for staying in the race after helping to boot out those candidates of principle and conviction, because all voters in all contests that will take place after Super Tuesday the Heir sees as effectively disenfranchised.  They simply don't have all the choices they're entitled to, so it doesn't surprise the Heir that there were reports of long lines at some polling places on Super Tuesday comparable to long lines in the general election in 2004 and the Heir thinks 1968.  So the Heir's sure that if Biden is the likely nominee he will certainly beat Trump, but Biden will absolutely *not* restore decency and honor to the Oval Office when inaugurated, and this is for a couple reasons.  Firstly, the Heir's sure Biden will use the Time Past argument as to why he would *never* ask or support his DOJ in bringing charges against Trump (or Barr) as per Bob Mueller's sworn testimony that Trump could be charged after leaving office.  Sure "could" doesn't necessarily mean "should," but the Heir doesn't believe Biden should fall into the trap of believing that Trump being defeated is punishment enough for the guy.  Because if you or I were under suspicion of financial crimes or sexual assault, you or I can't expect a penalty upon conviction to be that you or I are not President.  No, it's going to be more severe than that, so the Heir sees a Biden (or a Bernie) Presidency as Trump's get-out-of-free-jail card.  Biden will also *never* agree to oversee the fully unredacted release of the Mueller report, complete with all judge-approved releases of grand jury testimony for all cases that would have completed by that time.  No, instead the Heir expects Biden (or Bernie) to just say, oh that's just all in the past so it's a waste of time.  So Biden or Bernie talking about a so-called restoration of decency and honor to the office has the insincerity of Gerald Ford saying our national nightmare is now over before he pardoned Nixon.  Biden and Bernie as President never pursuing justice on Trump is effectively their pardoning Trump for probably everything bad he's ever done.  The Heir believes this would not happen if Elizabeth Warren weren't forced out of the race, because Warren would certainly charge Trump and release the Mueller Report in full within her first 100 days as President.  So the Heir announces he's getting *closer* to quitting the Donkeys For The People altogether and embracing Independence, though he also wants to see how bad the Primary ballot would be in Bachelor Blue State first.  He's not quitting just yet.

The Heir takes to task those western observers who've praised China's supposed efforts to contain the coronavirus, because why are we having to contend with coronavirus right here and now otherwise?  The way the Heir sees it, China made a series of mistakes that effectively amount to a failure of containment.  The Heir remembers a test he took in biology class in high school his flunking which contributed to his being unable to attend an educational class trip to Washington DC at the time that all the "cool kids" were able to go on.  He totally forgot about it until the coronavirus, so now he's embittered all over again for something that took place decades ago, because let's face it: the past is never truly past.  But anyway, the test had a reasoning section in it regarding the European response to the Black Plague, and asked whether a given measure increased or decreased chances of spreading the plague via a factor of concentration.  Those measures include forcing all sick people to live under one roof, and preventing people from going out into the countryside.  The Heir got both of those questions wrong, because forcing all sick people together increases concentration of the plague, and their having gone out into the countryside would have decreased concentration.  But China committed both of those sins with the coronavirus.  They forced all sick people together in quarantine, and they prevented people from leaving that one city and getting out into the countryside.  But the Heir's sure western observers lavished praise on China just so they can avoid a geopolitical backlash or retribution.  Wimps.  The Heir also questions the wisdom of those colleges that have quit classes for the rest of the semester, particularly if there were no reports of cases of the coronavirus cases on their campuses, and if no-one's tested positive.  It seems those colleges arbitrarily quit classes based solely on news reports.  He kind of understands those few colleges (thus far) that might have had a case or two, but he sees that as the exception to the rule.  So he thinks those students at colleges that quit classes over an overabundance of caution should seriously consider transferring to a college without cases that has *not* quit their classes.  The Heir believes those overcautious colleges will end up as ghost towns long after the coronavirus is over.

As per what the Heir said in my the Mentor's previous shares base share, he faces the prospect of becoming part of a Blank Ballot Protest with the primaries if he can't find Elizabeth Warren on the ballot *and* if he's not allowed to do a write-in.  So it's hard for him not to get cynical enough to believe just this early about at least 2 months before the primaries hit Bachelor Blue State that the primaries are essentially a sham.  Someone in Bachelor Blue State who's supported Biden or supported Bernie will have the *luxury* of voting for their man.  The Heir believes he just won't have that luxury, and hence primaries after Super Tuesday are essentially a form of disenfranchisement.  The Heir wants to find time to write a complaint letter well beforehand because he's pretty sure he's going to need it.  But here are a couple of things the Heir does *not* want to hear from anyone.  He doesn't want to hear anything to the effect of, "If Trump gets in a second time, it's game over!" or "Everything all depends on one thing!"  Well, people, he said, maybe you should have thought about that when you did everything you can to exclude Elizabeth Warren and her upcoming voters in those states that haven't voted yet.  He also doesn't want to hear about how Russians want to interfere with the elections, because aside from that being technically true, he sees that we *already* interfered with our elections ourselves.  So what exactly are we protecting ourselves from when it comes right down to it?  Because what ultimately happens every time the Heir has to go out into the official world to get things to happen is that our culture of personal corruption always has to go against him.  The Heir's still working on our DIY Third Pillar music player, and when that's done he sees that there will be a deliverance of tropical soul that avenges against that personal corruption and forced obsolescence, exhibited by big tech and Ed Snowden.  It's going to happen.  And when it does, it'll be a referendum on not only what happened in 2013 and 2014, but also what happened this year 2020 with the primaries, and the legal and moral failings of Trump 2017 and since then.  That list of unfinished business is just getting longer, and the Heir wonders whether once the the time comes around and we get to that deliverance, that maybe then the larger culture would get like, oh [bleep], we *were* wrong about everything at least since 2013, and we *did* lie to ourselves about how we were somehow right about everything.  Sooner or later the entire culture has to face its collective hubris, and the Heir doesn't think it's going to be a pretty picture for the culture.  He himself will certainly pull through, and he'll look on it with a bittersweet reverence in thinking that it had to take something to the degree of a Jonestown Flood to get the culture to repent for its self-righteous sins.

My Contact Us message would have detailed about the Biden/Bernie/Trump dynamic, the need for Primaries Reform, the ongoing struggle against the practices of big tech and the eventual return to a sense of national principle in our country.

I'll be honest about this unity thing. Though I'm against Trump, I would never consider voting for Biden or Bernie just to defeat Trump. Unless I decide otherwise, I see myself as writing you in as a personal choice in November.

I cite Primaries Reform because I anticipate that [Bachelor Blue State] will prevent write in ballots in the primary, and that I might be forced to make a Blank Ballot Protest. I would not do that lightly, but it goes in the spirit of your encouraging people to vote with their heart.

But *if* the Heir can do a write-in for the primary in Bachelor Blue State, he would.  The system would then be able to dodge a bullet.  Otherwise, it would appear to the Heir that "unity" is just code for forced capitulation and a disenfranchisement ultimatum.  The Heir wants to keep following Warren to see how she will continue what he sees as a movement for national principle in contrary to all the personal corruption that people like Ed Snowden represent.  He's glad he remembered to add the caveat of "Unless I decide otherwise," because it means he doesn't have to be bound to any/all decisions Warren makes going forward.  After all, Biden and Bernie in *not* supporting reforms to big tech for example he sees as Trump Lite.  He's pretty sure that either candidate would defeat Trump in November, but that it would be a Pyrrhic victory, because national principle would not be served, and the Heir anticipates continuing the Resistance accordingly.
