Whether it's peace by war, or peace by peace, somehow we've got to get there, By All Means Necessary (KRS1BDP). And with that, Tropical Soulvangelical and I totally dispense with what passes for "protest" in the post-HandsOff era. We had thought that maybe there was a pursuit of principle with respect to Indivisible and 50501 earlier this year, but TSV's observations of protests in Washington DC and leading up from Hands Off to now demonstrates that that's pretty much over. Now when he sees video shots of protests, he's seeing intellectualists and Ivy League Idealists (i.e., -trump- Lite types) and -not- the ordinary people who are truly affected. His misgivings have been confirmed by the pseudoprotestors proclaiming that it's -everyone else- who's "tolerating" -trump- (what else do you expect a -rescuer- to say otherwise?). While TSV thinks it's all fine and well to be throwing sandwiches at an adversary, he says to be prepared to pack something with considerably more punch, because otherwise -trump- is just being emboldened by the current pseudoprotests. It's unlikely that we can run out the clock, TSV believes, with respect to the Supreme Court, because he sees the high Court as eventually giving -trump- a rubber stamp on -absolutely everything- he wants to do because both they and the intellectualist/pseudoprotestors are just too timid to resort to other means if that becomes Necessary. There's no way, TSV points out, that you can just read that passage from the Autobiography Of Malcolm X where he takes the position of By Any Means Necessary and not think that's being called for now. -trump- is endangering the lives and the institutions of both the National Guard and the Supreme Court, along with members of his administration and supporters both in the government and without, not to mention the pseudoprotestors very likely, and maybe even -trump- himself. TSV doesn't see -any- of those people surviving no matter how much protection they gain for themselves unless we somehow (proverbially) dodge a bullet. Both the National Guard and the Secret Service present way too many vulnerabilities for them to survive the concept of Necessary. Necessary will, if Necessary, cut through -all forces- like hot butter. Not even nukes will work. TSV asks, where exactly would we be right now if George Washington spent most of the Revolutionary War paraphrasing Neimoller while the Hessians run roughshod on America? We'd likely still be a British colony along with half of the rest of the world. Neimoller vs. Necessary. Maybe -that's- what Kamala Harris was trying to say on Colbert? If so, TSV sees it being totally lost on Colbert as much of his audience is made up of those middle/upper class -rescuer- types. So for the time being we're swapping out our usual valance banner at the bottom of our base shares for the concept of Necessary. And here's TSV making clear to all of you, including -you- who just came across this on the Internet and wondering what this "blog" of Tropical Soul And Principle is about. Once it comes right down to it, what would -you- do? Obvious answer, but we're placing it as ASCII art under this base share for our current banner.

A few tidbits. Tropical Soulvangelical took to Twitter to not only let the DC Attorney General know that he's got his back, but TSV also proposed to DC's delegate at large that the home rule be revised to allow DC to take over the White House in case of emergency rather than it always being the other way around. From a practical point of view, TSV believes DC will point to the abuse of home rule in effect right now as a case for DC statehood, but he doesn't think that by itself is an adequate fight-back response to the troop deployment particularly considering -trump- wants to occupy Chicago and New York City. TSV's observed that the self-pity stance of the rich donor class among others simply encourages -trump- to go after them and their values, and TSV says hear-hear to the defiant stance on part of Chicago's city leadership. He's noticed that -trump- dropped the subject of occupying Chicago when they did that, thereby confirming the TACO notion of -trump- always chickens out. TSV, on the other hand, is striving to -never- chicken out so maybe the acronym in his case would be something to the effect of TSVNCO, which doesn't spell a word unfortunately. But unlike the pseudoactivist groups like the the Ivy League Idealists and the intellectualists and the rich donors, to name a few, TSV's stance is not to quote Neimoller or just go "ooh this is dangerous" but instead propose tit-for-tat like wrt to the troops in DC. He's used to being told that his proposals are somehow impractical, unconstructive, not planned out very well, whatever, and he's stopped listening to every word of that because what if Zelensky was told that and he decided to give in to Russia as a result? Because that's what will happen, hence TSV estimates that I and he as a group of two have made more political defiance against -trump- than all the pseudoactivists put together. That's because unlike them we're not trying to write a book. When then-Czechoslovakia got occupied in 1968, did we see a lot of self-pitying book writers quote Andrew Weissman in declaring "the end is nigh?" Or did the people do what they could to resist, even if at that time it would have been almost impossible odds? Among other things, TSV sees the pseudoactivists also motivated by a fear of failure. Things are going to not work from time to time, and TSV wants to dress down the pseudoactivists accordingly, reminding them that that's just life. He's failed far more often than he's succeeded, but he refuses to adopt an inferiority complex like the pseudoactivists have. In that spirit, he also proposes a hopeful graphic for the future that reverses the conversion of the White House flower garden into deck chair deck. In this graphic, and those of you who are interested may want to either do an image search or an AI, the before and after graphics show the deck chairs and the rose garden respectively, demonstrating the upcoming return of the rose garden. But also in the after graphic, we see a burning bonfire of the deck chairs at a safe distance from the future returning rose garden, but TSV doesn't think that's going to happen if Nice Guy Butti gets installed in 2028. But TSV does see the eventual return of Antifa, and he sees it as Antifa 2.0 that will not just take the fight to -trump- but also the Trump Lite pseudoactivists and perhaps the central party's Bidenhaters. It's going to happen.

A few things here, as best as I the Happy Bachelor and Tropical Soulvangelical can remember. There's always stuff to unpack. We revised the "girlfriend" pics so as to have them follow the same path towards principle we've been beseeching of the populace accordingly, so we hope by now no-one's going to say anything to the effect of how we're not walking the walk. We -are-, so how about -others- doing so? Where the Texas Donkeys are concerned, TSV heard a claim on 1010 WINS that they're apparently going -back- to Texas, but he can't find proof of that on the Wikipedia article regarding the redistricting. But when they left Texas to break quorum, the three states TSV read they went to were New York, California and Illinois, but why not also TSV's own state? It makes it harder for TSV to help them out if they decide to ghost TSV's home state. He's getting tired of his home state being totally invisible, because last time he checked, it -was- one of the 50 states of the union. Another thing he doesn't understand is why the governors of those three states hadn't proposed adding blue districts in their own states -regardless- of whether Texas adds red districts? Maybe even by executive order? Just Texas threatening to do so is more than enough reason to pull the trigger on your own in this instance. This kind of rhetoric from the urbanes like the Ivy League Idealists and the intellectualists and the rich Donkey nailbiters just really tires the heck out of TSV. He proposes that democracy will remain unsafe when Texas decides -not- to redistrict -if- the blue states also decide -not- to redistrict in response. This while the hypocritical urbanes excoriate the populace over -their- supposed cowardice. TSV also further proposes that the true pursuers of principle mount a restraining order on the urbanes if things escalate. This also gets to TSV's followup on Kamala Harris plugging her book on Colbert claiming that it's "naive" to "wait it out." As a citizen himself, TSV respectfully points out to the Vice President that resistance against the conformist establishment wrt -trump- is ultimately about -constructfully- waiting to a more hopeful time in the future when not only -trump- is out of office, but he's made to answer for what he's done, including business fraud and money laundering that TSV's finding no-one's talking about, and also damaging our children's morality. There's no doubt that -trump- is heading for a burning grave (if not a jail on Earth) even if a neo-Antifa ends up burning that grave themselves. TSV thinks Antifa needs to come back to slap the urbanes out of their self-righteous and self-pitying reverie. But TSV tells us it's a -hundred times more naive- to assume that -trump's- burning grave will never happen. It's going to happen, and TSV will be there to tell you he told you so.

Tropical Soulvangelical waited nearly two weeks before watching the Kamala interview on Colbert, but he finally tuned in with great interest, and he's got some takeaways. Being pro-Biden, TSV was especially interested in Kamala's thoughts on the central party's War On Biden. Kamala's response was that she "wasn't going to pile on." TSV knew she really wanted to say "I wasn't going to pile on -Biden-," but that was pretty much narrow straits in the interview, so she figured that she needed to choose her words carefully. TSV understands, but he found revelations in Colbert as well, in that he wasn't unsympathetic to the central party Bidenhaters, and while TSV still loves Colbert and wishes he take TSV's advice not to make his career choice as being CBS-or-nothing as per the Youth Power Ivy League Idealists' putting pressure on him accordingly, he still believes that Colbert is seriously mistaken in taking this stance regarding Biden and now not applying regret to his decision. Colbert must know by now that the central party bled nearly half its donation base in choosing to attack not only Biden, but also Biden's supporters as well as basic values that Biden and his supporters have sworn to live by, namely the concept of principle. By supporting the central party's decision to not recant their attacks on Biden, Colbert has helped assure that those lost supporters will never come back until the central party admits wrongdoing, even if that's 20 years from now. So what about the rest of the interview? TSV believes that Kamala -will- try to make a comeback in '28, possibly as a primary challenge to "Butti" whom for some reason TSV observes that Chris D. Jackson has confided in but whom TSV truly doesn't trust until Butti -also- makes clear where he stands on the War On Biden. He doesn't think she was necessarily untruthful when she said that she didn't want to run for office because she felt the system was broken, but if you've read us this far you'd see that TSV sees the breakages as -specifically- being with the central party rather than just the system at large. He also gets the impression that Colbert wanted his audience to go into the interview in suspension of disbelief over the War On Biden, for everyone to somehow pretend that it's not going on, and then try to keep the interview on those specific 107 days, rather than the 40 days that took place before the 107 days. Ultimately, they did end up going to the elephant in the living room. TSV is already skeptical of books, because they are ultimately just the opinion of their respective authors, and he doubts he'll dabble in 107 Days accordingly. But if he ever does, he believes that at least half of Colbert's audience will read the book with the War On Biden in mind, and only see the book through that lens with the likelihood that the book will try to make the War On Biden a less than minor narrative, but still come away like TSV did from the interview that Kamala would have won if there wasn't a War On Biden, -or- the central party suddenly remembers that principle is still a thing and recants their War On Biden so that Kamala would have the moral support she needed to send -trump- back to jail.

Tropical Soulvangelical forgot specifically what it was that made him mad enough to get me the Happy Bachelor to do a base share for him. But while he's trying to remember, a few things. Firstly, he strongly doubts that Colbert will take his advice and find a post-CBS gig to continue some sort of show from, and that's because TSV believes Colbert's under pressure from some of his supporters to take a CBS-or-nothing stance. They'll try to tell him that if he looks for a post-gig, that will amount to a "surrender" of sorts. TSV hasn't heard anything specifically, but Colbert did have "pod save america" on after last year's election which TSV found Team Joe's criticisms of to be valid. The criticisms are that, who do they think -they- are to think -they're- the ones to "save" America, being centered in Beverly Hills and not necessarily reflecting the concerns of the working class, particularly the pro-46. So TSV thinks psa's helping put this pressure on. Another issue is about the political trope of the Weak Donkey. TSV still thinks this sentiment is directed at actual registered Donkey voters (despite their everyday protests) and not the central party even though it should be directed at the party. TSV would otherwise not disagree with the trope -if- it were directed at the party, but he thinks it's actually very hypocritical to accuse -someone else- of being weak when -you're- too weak to specify who exactly you're talking about and not name names. TSV wants it to be Schumer and Schiff and the Dirty 30 and George Clooney and Jake Tapper and the other Bidenhaters, and this being only a little over a year after 7/24, TSV has observed that this Weak Donkey sentiment -still hasn't- acknowledged the attacks on Biden, so doubly hypocritical is this trope. A third thing is the "hidden story" trope being floated by some activists that claim that certain stories -they- think Americans should be concerned about are somehow inherently unreported. On the contrary, TSV has found experientially thus far over the past six months or so that 90% of what he believed he needed to know he's found -does- get reported either on newsradio for him first thing in the morning, or in Wikipedia's list of events for 2025. Sure you're never going to cover 100%, but where the missing 10% is concerned, he observes the activists as using the "smoking gun may be a mushroom cloud" argument because they, too, aren't specific enough as to which missing stories people should be looking out for. He believes that if you ask them, you're only going to get what amounts to their -opinion- and not actual reportable facts. He already does that here, because what's to stop TSV from declaring that the opinions he's getting me the Happy Bachelor to put out aren't themselves "hidden stories" that conformist society wants to deny are going on, just because he says so? And now here's a fourth thing. He never got a chance to say so 15 months ago, but over the Memorial Holiday Weekend of 2024, he got harassed on the road by a tailgater trying to get him to speed on a 45 speed limit road and TSV's already doing 50, and the tailgater passed him over a double yellow line with a roaring engine (no it wasn't a muscle car). TSV beeped at him and the tailgater beeped back at him in a kind of how-dare-you stance. TSV now, in August of 2025, condemns the tailgater as inherently personally corrupt and will not fall prey to the past events argument that the conformist society would try to give him. It was probably about politics but TSV never takes -his- politics out on the road. He's just trying to get from point A to point B, so it just doesn't make sense to him regarding people who just take a drive out on the road because they got nothing better to do and wasting all that gas. So accordingly he turns to the tailgater right now and asks him if things are really better off for the tailgater 15 months later than 15 months ago, and hence says to the tailgater, May God Have Mercy On Your Soul. TSV doesn't forget things because it's actually a sin to do so. It amounts to lack of faith in the things you claim to believe in.

Tropical Soulvangelical finds Sean Diddy Combs guilty as charged on all counts. TSV's verdict morally overrides that of the court, and he's got a number of points to make about establishing equity in the system which he saw lacking in the court trial. Firstly is the idea that the verdict of a court trial can never be questioned by the general public not exposed to evidence or lack thereof in the court, that somehow the general public is -disqualified- from making verdicts of their own and carrying out penalties accordingly in their own personal jurisdictions, e.g., increased demonstrations outside a Diddy concert with respect to the rights of survivors. TSV has just recently made a donation to a local anti-exploitation group because -trump- wants to pardon Ghislaine Maxwell -and- Maxwell's attorneys want the Supreme Court to overturn her conviction. They want it both ways, and TSV finds that our current court system makes that possible while a poor teenager languishes in jail sentenced 20 years to life for a shoplifting charge. TSV expects the prosecutor in such a case that has already seen a verdict to make a press conference discussing the 4- or 5- digit value of the items the teenager has shoplifted which may expose said prosecutor to disciplinary actions if it's determined that such assertions are untruthful and that said shoplifting items amounted to no more than $100 in value. Also, even if the items were of lofty monetary value, is that somehow an excuse for said teenager to be warehoused in the penitentiary system until he's 50 years of age? So with all that in mind, TSV makes the following requirements to our current system. If a defendant has the best legal team money can buy in a given felony case, a background review of the case as it has played out in court, including the actions of the judge, be automatically initiated upon acquittal of at least half the charges in the case. Such a review also invites public commentary that can be added onto via the public's reps in government even after the review is over, so that there isn't the move of "deadlining" on the public. TSV's pretty sure this is how they do it in Europe, which is why he's never seen OJ type trials in Europe. Only in America.

Tropical Soulvangelical wants to make a followup on our last base share regarding the attacks on Colbert. So while he still doesn't think that the cancellation was necessarily politically motivated, he nevertheless invites a public investigation into CBS accordingly. Maybe that's what he pretty much said last time, but he's justified in disinvolving Adam Schiff. He thinks Schiff was trying to pull a Biden to try to play down his attacks on Biden last year when Schiff said on Colbert's show that -trump- should eff off. Despite everything, TSV is still open to a sincere and contrite apology to Biden and his family and the American people from the Freshman Senator, so this whole business of "Hey I can pull a Biden too" he thinks really strikes as a poor and clumsy substitute to a proper apology. TSV's also disappointed that in confirming whether CBS portrayed the charred bodies of Kobe Bryant and his daughter, he was only able to find that Vanessa Bryant specifically sued authorities in Los Angeles County and not the media. That said, TSV did an AI to find out whether the newsmedia used the offensive photos (Chat-GPT via Duck.ai) and he was told, [paraphrase] Yes they did [end-paraphrase], so why shouldn't he believe that even with the inaccuracy disclaimer? He has heard in passing that CBS was involved, so why shouldn't he believe that someone was trying to hide something to make the evidence of such harder to find? Oh, and another thing, with respect to Colbert and TSV watching the monologue about Epsteingate and -trump-, TSV's wondering if -trump- kind of -enjoys- all the negative attention and all the denial he's doing in response, possibly because it distracts from having to attend to Presidential duties, because that's just a lot of hard work requiring the utmost pragmatism. TSV regrets that they don't do a poll on each and every single passing incident of something instead of just general issues, because then he would have seen a poll done on -trump- AI'ing an Obama video and whether the respondent believes Obama did something wrong solely based on an obviously fake video. 10% say he did, 85% say he didn't, and the other 5% is not sure. Of course when we get the final mushroom cloud over the horizon, about 5% of people seeing said mushroom cloud will poll as "not sure if that's a mushroom cloud and if I'm dead by the time you read this."

Tuesday, July 22, 2025

Tropical Soulvangelical's not sure he particularly cares whom he shocks when he says he doesn't see any immediate evidence that Colbert got cancelled for political reasons. He went on his activist channel to provide support to Colbert and his family, encouraging him to look beyond the vagaries of CBS, including their wanting to cancel the Star Trek franchise. He told him that any one of us can run a business like CBS better than those currently in charge. This is a network, TSV observes, that thinks nothing to showing graphic footage of school shootings like Parkland Florida without even a warning to the audience or the victims' families and he remembers CBS getting sued by Kobe Bryant's widow. She won that suit with respect to emotional distress when they showed the charred bodies of Bryant and his daughter after the helicopter accident. So TSV's thinking that if you don't think this is a network that makes sense for Colbert to just ditch CBS altogether like the way Howard Stern ditched regular talk radio for SiriusXM, he wants you to consider the above. So as per the theory of a political conspiracy? TSV's hoping for substantive evidence to arrive in time, but thus far all he has is Bidenhater Adam Schiff with a video caption reading [paraphrased] did CBS cancel Colbert over politics(?) I think we know the answer [end-paraphrase]. The phrase "I think we know the answer" TSV views as a poor substitute for substantial proof of something solely because you don't have that proof. TSV clearly sees this as an "extraordinary claims merit extraordinary evidence" situation. After all, those few scientists who go to a Ted Talks saying, "Is there intelligent life in outer space, I think we know the answer" TSV sees as getting laughed out of Ted Talks (he's hoping that Ted Talks's standards haven't sunk to the level of CBS). But TSV holds out hope we can find actual evidence instead of instances of emotional appeal that LogicallyFallacious.com warned him about. He's open to possibilities, including how he's now pretty sure that there was a second shooter on the grassy knoll (he feels they made a strong enough case) despite the fact that no one can contend that the second shooter necessarily delivered the fatal shot. So until then, TSV encourages Colbert to look to other sources like YouTube and Comedy Central proper among others. Colbert's capital of credibility outshines that of CBS by at least a hundred times. After the sex scandals of Les Moonves at least, TSV's having a hard time seeing CBS as the one time home of Walter Cronkite.

Sunday, July 6, 2025

This month 7/25 marks the first year anniversary of 7/24, which a year later and perhaps forever Tropical Soulvangelical will remember as -the other- 1/6, where the central party betrayed Biden and his citizen supporters, and started off on a tangent that ultimately gave us another term of -trump-. TSV is blessed with being able to follow other supporters, like Chris D. Jackson, but only on a very fragmented basis. Sure there are the hashtags #Team46 and #TeamJoe but other than that TSV doesn't yet see a citizen supporter supported set of hash tags to try to unite Citizen Team 46. He's really not sure how hash tags catch on, because -anybody- can do a hash tag. Just go on your social platform of choice and do hash tag # and whatever phrase you want to hash tag with. But in any case, a year later, TSV is just as distrustful of the central party as he was a year ago, and is still at war with Schumer, David Axelrod, George Clooney, Jake Tapper and the Dirty Thirty. TSV resolves to keep on with primarying out as many of the personally corrupt as he can, and doesn't buy for a second any of their distractionary measures, including exploiting the very terrible -trump-. TSV keeps killing texts off his flip and ignoring manipulative emails. He just fired Insurgent in earnest though keeping track of Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell, but he's certainly not going to miss the rest. So in addition to pro-Joe citizen hash tags, he wishes there was a pro-Joe video channel he subscribe into as the -real- Insurgent. For the time being, he'll have to keep looking.

Tuesday, July 1, 2025

Tropical Soulvangelical has observed that Biden's appearances both in Galveston Texas and in Minnesota took place without the likes of George Clooney or David Axelrod or anyone in the central party trying to take away from that. TSV hopes Biden's Donkeyish enemies have learned their lesson for the time being, seeing how Jake Tapper seemed to have been apparently refused appearance on most late night type shows in trying to promote his anti-Biden book. The book's been out for what appears to be nearly two months, and TSV's relieved that Colbert and Kimmel didn't have Tapper on. Sure both comics TSV expects will do "old" jokes, but they also want to make sure they stand for the value of truth, so Tapper's book appears a bridge too far for them. With respect to Galveston, that was this year's Juneteenth observance which comes a year after media coverage of Biden frozen in place at a Juneteenth event at the White House. In Galveston, he was anything -but- frozen, though Tapper was almost certainly frozen in place in the proverbial sense when Biden warned against those to wish to erase history, and TSV takes it that he wasn't just talking about -trump-. TSV sees it as perfectly justified for Biden to push back against not just personal attacks against -him- but political attacks against his silent plurality of supporters including TSV for standing for things like a stalwart stance in political life. To that end, TSV believes that shortly after Zohran Mamdani won the New York City Donkey primary, there was a phone call between Mamdani and Biden in which TSV believes Biden encouraged Mamdani to keep in touch with Brad Lander, the stalwart in the New York race, and to not let anyone try to get Mamdani down over his socialist leanings. It's one thing, TSV thinks, for a socialist to tell Mamdani that, but that it makes more of a difference for a non-socialist to tell him that. TSV joins the 55% in opposing the Big Ugly Bill and warns against the -trumpists- against even considering a rally type event marking a signature into law, and hopes that the late show comics will continue to make fun of the creaky tanks that will make an appearance at that rally as well as last year's garbage truck.

Saturday, June 28, 2025

Here's where it's at with Tropical Soulvangelical and the primary victory of Zohran Mamdani. TSV's glad that Cuomo lost, and that the city folk demonstrated that values matter, and that you can't just get in just on name recognition alone, which is what TSV thinks Cuomo thought he could do. TSV also wants to remind people that as of his watching the Mamdani/Brad Lander interview on Colbert, Mamdani and Lander 'co-endorsed' each other in the race, and this TSV wants to send as admonishment to the so-called Young Socialists Of America. TSV doesn't want the young socialists to overlook Lander and how he helped Mamdani out on this one. Another thing is that from that same interview, TSV gathers that Mamdani genuinely wants to represent and reach out to all New Yorkers, regardless of whether they identify as 'socialist' or not. But once that happens, TSV would find it hard to believe that the young socialists would -not- then turn on Mamdani as another 'centrist' or some element of the central party, just because his reaching out to all New Yorkers they'll interpret as not doing the group's bidding. TSV remembers that one American founder that warned against interested groups, even though TSV sees such groups as almighty more powerful than unassociated individuals like himself -ever- could be, but that in our fervor to 'save' democracy, nobody will ever heed that warning. TSV also sees the young socialists as believing that anyone who votes for Mamdani either in the primary or the general election automatically identifies as a young socialist of sorts, and that no voter should be surprised when they then get a mailing claiming that 'we now see you as one of us.' TSV truly doesn't quite see any meaningful difference between this particular group and the Mangioniists who want to exonerate Mangioni for having killed a health insurance executive, so he doesn't want the young socialists to try to 'leverage' Mamdani. TSV is keeping watch here.

Monday, June 16, 2025

Firstly, Tropical Soulvangelical wants to condemn the political violence taking place in Minneapolis along with the mistreatment of a U.S. Senator a day or two before that. But he thinks this is unaccountability attempting to cloud his comments on both No Kings' Day and -trump's- military parade. So for the most part, as TSV was scanning the Wikipedia article on No Kings' Day, he saw that for the most part the protests were free of co-option or gate-crashing by the politicians (though he saw that Bernie did go to a protest in Stowe, VT, TSV didn't, -yet-, see evidence that Bernie took privilege in insisting on making an impromptu speech, a la Hands Off). But as per -trump's- parade, TSV saw the westernized visual media making nail-biting comments which TSV saw as playing into the hands of -trump- because TSV believes that's -exactly- what -trump- wants. TSV will not buy any excuses on the part of the westernized media that they're only doing their free press work, and TSV would not be surprised if this kind of inexplicable coverage was promulgated by the Central Donkeys as part of their continuing War On Biden in an attempt to spin a fatalistic and hopeless narrative. TSV still believes that both the Central Donkeys and the westernized media -wanted- -trump- to win the election last year in order to, among other things, premeditate a military parade to create a narrative over. If Kamala won or if the Central Donkeys ceased and desisted as per the true wishes of the public and allowed Biden to get a second term (contradicting what TSV now believes were central party distorted polls), TSV's pretty sure that they wouldn't have insisted on tanks being in the streets. But since this was the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army, they would have obviously wanted to make sure that there was an official observation of some sort, perhaps a smaller parade or an event elsewhere in the Washington area, an air show from a base close to Washington, like maybe Annapolis in Maryland. In any case, TSV wouldn't have bought the apparent intellectualist insistence that Biden or Harris would never have tolerated -any- observation of the anniversary, just that they would not have requested tanks in the streets. Also in contrary to the intellectualist/westernized media/Central Donkey narrative, TSV believes that the public would have given some measure of support to an Army anniversary of some sort in the case of a Kamala or second Biden presidency, but that they would have healthfully made sure such an observation would have a proper place in the culture. So TSV figures you can argue that -trump's- parade kind of took -away- from the importance of the military forces rather than reinforced such importance. In the same way Kimmel and his announcer observed that the Marines stationed in L.A. were looking kind of bored and possibly not disagreeing with the demonstrations protesting crackdowns on immigration (and it's likely that there are Marine members that are immigrants themselves), TSV figures that the tank riders would also look like they're going through the motions thinking to themselves, do we -really- have to do this? Nothing in the fatalist media about how it was pouring rain for most of the day or what TSV's coworker pointed out was Marco Rubio letting out a big yawn while observing the parade, and a very certain downplaying of the fact that the parade was poorly attended by the public. And one last thing TSV wants to point out, most importantly. Today was Father's Day, which TSV also sees as God's Day, and TSV believes that the best way to observe the day after the parade is to help God out the best way we can, including holding ourselves to the concept of principle and some manner of God-given intelligence which TSV saw happening in about half the places he looked the day before.

Friday, June 6, 2025

A little something closer to home for Tropical Soulvangelical. Apparently, someone installed a spy cam in one of the restrooms near where TSV works at Bland Barns, and they turned themselves in after the camera was found. TSV wants to talk about this one as delicately as possible, since child abuse is one of the worst things about living in our world. But these days in post-pandemic America, TSV's more sensitive to how certain topics and content are inherently offensive, and to that end this spy cam incident strikes him as endemic to a larger culture that doesn't make right-and-wrong a priority, nor does it emphasize the importance of long term committed relationships. TSV can't help thinking that you wouldn't have this sort of thing happen if people didn't feel compelled to attack children just to alleviate loneliness. It was just over a week ago that -trump- pardoned a reality TV couple, though what TSV heard at first was that they're a reality TV couple, and didn't readily hear what they went to jail for till afterwards. There was footage on Kimmel where the couple were making inappropriate comments about each other's clothing to the point where any underage child happening across it while a parent was in the room would end up asking, what did they mean by that, with respect to any kind of slang they heard, and the parent would be understandably flustered trying to decide to explain to the child what the participants said, why they said it, and why such content was readily accessible on TV. TSV had requested that we tone down the 'glamour shots' elsewhere on this shares base, so that we're not caught saying one thing and doing another while TSV's trying to get the message out about the importance of living relatively monastically in a morally conscious manner in a world just knee deep in sin. He perceives that only a small percentage, perhaps 1-5%, will try their darndest to follow and stay on the righteous path to the point where the number 144877 increases in importance. According to Scripture, that's the number of people already lost in rapture in the early 2000s, and that was over 20 years ago, but TSV's hoping that maybe we can add on to the 144877 before the world ends, though no one will know the exact day or time. Finally, he's also hoping that now that jaywalking has been legalized in New York City, the same percentage of folk living there will become part of an anti-jaywalking messaging troupe letting people know how jaywalking is actually -even more wrong- now that it's been legalized, and to refuse to jaywalk or give into peer pressure on Jaywalking Danger Awareness Day, though TSV hasn't seen a specific date as to when that's going to be this year.
