Tropical Soulvangelical warns the Prime Minister not to take tropical soul for granted, just because both may share -some- opinions regarding the Ed Snowden nature of most of the protests. TSV's previous base share's support for Israel does not mean the PM gets to have a blank check. This warning comes as TSV takes objection with the PM's treatment of 9/11 and Pearl Harbor, and TSV isn't going to wait till Biden or Antony Blinken make their response accordingly. The same way TSV wasn't on the inside when 10/7 happened, the PM wasn't really there when 9/11 and Pearl Harbor happened to compare all three. Also as a reminder -also- from the previous base share, TSV isn't a PM person, so that should serve as extra warning, while also seeing the PM continue to hand protest fodder to the Ed Snowden types. But while apart from that there's still a lot to unpack, TSV encourages Mr. Blinken not to let the Ed Snowdens' dramatic presentations behind him to keep him from informing everyone of updates as per the department's stance and diplomatic ongoings. TSV's trying to keep up to date on the status of the conflict, and he's lacking in details as per what point inside stage two we're at, having read that there's supposed to be three stages. That's not to say that the PM won't change his mind and possibly add on four more stages or so, so TSV's trying to remind himself not to take anything for granted. Stay tuned.

Tropical Soulvangelical (aka "the Heir") had -momentarily- wondered whether a cease fire isn't a bad idea, because pragmatically speaking it'll allow both the transport of relief supplies and negotiators to try to get more hostages freed. But he's now thinking it probably -is- a bad idea judging from the situation at Cooper Union and unanswered questions about the protests in Brooklyn over last weekend. Fireworks set and beer bottles thrown at cops, students feeling unsafe enough to feel like they need to lock themselves inside a school library, unconfirmed reports of people tearing hostage posters off street walls and protestors doing national death chants, and a car covered in swastikas driving on or near a major highway in or near Westchester County pulled over and caught transporting deadly weapons for some unknown purpose, and TSV is wondering, all this for a call for a cease fire??? Putting his previous pragmatic musings aside, TSV is becoming more convinced that a if cease fire is brokered between Netanyahu and Hamas, Hamas will only take privilege and break that cease fire when they think no-one's looking. As in our previous base shares, TSV sees clear CRINK involvement in Hamas's activities, and as such he sees them as encouraging Hamas to act in bad faith. Even if we do get -all- the hostages freed, and -all- relief supplies and repairs put in place and services restored, TSV sees Israel as then morally losing the war. TSV still isn't a Netanyahu person, but he's starting to understand why Netanyahu feels the way he does most of the time. Barring Netanyahu's inexplicable call for the U.N. secretary to resign, TSV sees the current war as yet another proxy front for CRINK like the war in Ukraine is, and the ongoing cultural obsession with tech and continuing personal corruption as there was in the 2010s when TSV lost his job at the software company as a result, despite the fact that the pandemic should have taught people to get back onto the righteous path. This is why TSV lends general support to the survival of Israel in this conflict, and any further Ed Snowden protests that take place until that conflict ends will just cause TSV to dig his heels in even more accordingly. The Ed Snowdens won't change his mind. They'll just make him feel more firmly like he does now.

So here's Tropical Soulvangelical's (TSV, aka "the Heir") followup on his forecast for how long the war's going to last. It's already Friday, and he vaguely remembers the war starting just a little under two weeks ago. So, no, he's pretty sure now it's -not- going to be a mere two weeks, so he stands corrected. He's not entirely sure about three weeks if in a week's time there's still no end in sight. Otherwise this would be the extent to which he feels it's appropriate for him to talk about the war, because, again, he believes a wise sensitivity is called for. That said, he also monitors the demonstrations on audio. Also to be fair, he's keeping an ear out for both the pro-Israeli groups and the pro-Palestine groups, to hear what they're saying on newsradio, talking to the "man in the street" (now a bit of a chauvinist phrase). But he exercises his right to be biased in observing whatever Ed Snowdenisms the latter group may come up with, and that includes logical fallacies as per logicallyfallacious.com (or maybe it's a .org) as well as attempts to prolong discussions till 3 o'clock in the morning. This is what TSV believes happened with a rep of that latter group's phone call with Eric Adams. The group made claims on audio about the point at which Eric Adams hung up right in their face, or that he necessarily did so, but TSV doesn't believe them. TSV believes they tried to do pull all that Ed Snowden jazz on Eric Adams, and TSV asks who -wouldn't- at least want to hang up on someone who talks to them with that level of disrespect? Also note that this isn't even about the substance of details of the war, and which moves were right and wrong, and why. That's why TSV sees the group as using there just being a war, period, as an excuse for piling on abuse and invective on a member of their enemies list. TSV himself may very well be down the list, so he's getting ready. Now, if Eric Adams -did- hang up on them, TSV doesn't think that's a smart thing for a sitting mayor to do. But he thinks it's perfectly understandable as to why someone would at least feel like hanging up on someone like that.

Where the last 48 hours or so are concerned as of this base share, Tropical Soulvangelical (TSV, aka "the Heir") isn't pledging "solidarity" (or fealty for that matter) with any particular government or group in the latest conflict, except both for the kidnapping victims and their families, and those who've grown up in dire straits about to see their utilities shut off on them in apparent retaliation. TSV has felt pressure to have to choose one side or the other, with the expectation of demonizing the side not chosen, and he doesn't believe this is the right way to look at it. On the contrary, he sees there's actually a lot to unpack with what he'd like to say about it in coming days and weeks, though he thinks the conflict may only last 2-3 weeks like the last one did. So with that in mind among other things, he will want to respond to the "responses," as well as listen to the radio/audio as per updates that might infer a revision in those responses as necessary.

Tropical Soulvangelical (aka the Heir) is not entirely sure Biden did himself any favors by signing a continuing resolution to avert a government shutdown that politicians have apparently been nailbiting and doomsaying over. This is because leading up to that 11th hour there was increased antibidenisms on newsradio, and this is what TSV heard accordingly. He heard about -two polls- about next year's election in one of those driveby reports that never get repeated. One of them apparently showed Biden behind Trump by 20 percentage points, while the other showed them in a dead heat. TSV reminds the people that God gave them the power of reason to see that both polls can't be true, so here's how he figures the discrepancy. The Trump Triumph Poll TSV sees as asking -exactly- 20 people, and 16 of them were Trumpists, so -of course- you'd get that 20 point difference. The other item TSV heard about was an antibiden Ed Snowdenism in the form of a Youth Action Group or a Youth Power Group local to Philadelphia. It might as well be a Youth Ageist Group with TSV being on the receiving end of a second class citizenship akin to his sufferings in the 2010s. But the YAG/YPG he heard using the talking point memo of Biden-Isn't-Doing-Enough, which while that may be the opinion of under-35's, firstly it's not all of them by a long shot (TSV's looking at a divide among young people), and secondly TSV takes it as a shot at those like TSV have been reasonably happy with Biden, including solidarity for Ukraine and most forms of essentials economics. This was on LPR, which TSV feels having NPR breathing down their necks to go as antibiden as possible, so if NPR wants the YPGs to go antibiden as well, TSV sees a possible tolerance for ageism particularly against those who are trying to support Biden to make sure we get our culture back to as close to principle as possible, and as far away from personal corruption as possible. This is how TSV isn't being "pro" Biden or a dittohead for that matter. He sees Biden as an instrumental figure in getting the populace back onto the righteous path, from when they engaged in the Roman Imperialism of the 2010s in terms of personal corruption and forced obsolesence. TSV doesn't want there to be another pandemic-scale disaster (nature as of yet unknown) for a higher power to try to get through to people accordingly. The same way in which the continuing resolution kicks the can down the road also kicks the personally corrupt can to a point in time when TSV hears the antibidenisms increase again on newsradio. He believes, albeit with the risk of being wrong, that the continuing resolution will put the antibidenisms to rest at least for the next two weeks, or a given 'news cycle,' before the Ed Snowdens and the Trumpists and mouthpieces for Big Tech and Kremlin and Beijing interests find some other schtick to hang Biden on. For as long as there ever will be antibidenisms in the future, TSV doesn't see Biden as particularly Teflon.
