We haven't done a whole lot of announcements here, because we seem to be putting episodes out faster, so the announcements tend to come out there. That is, with the exception of announcements about new episodes of course.
After what amounted to a Brooklyn rout tonight, the Heir doesn't believe the Nets can win the next two games, and that elimination is a foregone conclusion. The Heir believes the Nets were in a position to win, and he was looking for that fourth quarter run in the last 2-3 minutes, and that never happened. The Nets wasted a rally call from Michael Kay Johnson, and he isn't going to be there in Toronto this coming Wednesday to give the Nets the arrogant sense of confidence they failed to make use of tonight.
Both this shares base and our presence on audio primarily feature content toward the themes of principle and a simplicity and meditative state of mind we call "tropical soul." Also includes announcements and shares in The Bachelor such as new episodes, emergency/need-to-know and shares with the four pillars and the Bachelor universe.

Heir's happy that this morning that Foot In Mouth From Delaware had responded to Putin's accusations of Western hypocrisy. However, Foot In Mouth stopped short of a detailed line-by-line debunking of what Putin said, and Heir's disappointed by that. All the more reason that the Bachelor plans to do that detailed response accordingly. That won't be in the next episode, but the next one after that. Though it's possible by then Putin will have kissed and made up, and everyone's one big happy family like before the crisis. It's the Short News Cycles Blues.

The Bachelor will weigh in on Crimea on audio at some point (though not the next episode, maybe the one after). But seeing how that referendum is scheduled for tomorrow, and that Crimea will almost certainly vote to leave the Ukraine, the Ukraine needs to make it easier for those leaving Crimea in response, to continue to recognize their Ukrainian citizenship should they retreat towards the surrounding oblasts. The Heir is not confident that the present government in Kiev is smart enough to come up with that idea, let alone make that announcement today ahead of the vote. They're taking the approach of, everything depends on this vote going our way, even though we know it won't. It's like that kind of passive aggressive rival-agreed symbiosis that the Heir continues not to understand in vanilla politics, whether in the U.S. or the Black Sea rim.

Heir found a lot of muscular imagery on the beach bulletin board. It reminded him of a radio spot for a survivor type show that rhetorically asks what is more important: brawn, brains or beauty? His response was, how about principle? Because principle matters more than all three combined, times 50. Humility helps too!

We're not going to have a new episode in time for tomorrow, Valentine's, so when that episode makes a reference to the pro-sex holiday, it's also because the Bachelor considers the pro-sex holiday as extending through the beginning of daylight savings time in March, and maybe even after if necessary.

The Heir's pretty sure Ed Snowden's going to be at the Sochi Olympics in the audience stands, in the club chair premium seats no less, and as Vladimir Putin's personal guest even no less less. Heir doesn't want anything bad to happen to the guy. But if a terror incident were to happen, Ed Snowden will witness it, and maybe get injured. It's ironic. Being a victim of a terror incident enabled by information the terrorists gained through his own dilvulgences as a side effect for pursuing his ideals rather than common sense. It's ironic.

Heir says he thinks that this Superbowl was probably the most unremarkable Superbowl ever. Hindsight being 20/20, there was no doubt Seattle was going to win, no matter how much of a game Denver was going to put up. Sure, Seattle earned this win, but the Heir cautions the Bachelor listeners to pretty much disregard what spin Sports Illustrated, or the Daily News, or the talk shows tonight and in the early morning on The Fan immediately after the ceremony have to make about how superior Seattle is as a city for the next seven months. Because, let's face it: Superbowl 48 will hardly be remembered once 50 and 100 come around, because it wasn't a game that mattered that much. They didn't even have a Nipplegate moment, so what was that all about!? So Superbowl 48 goes down as a mere footnote in the Heir's football diary. By contrast, look at 44. Not only did that game see a come from behind win, but it was also New Orleans, a city recovering from Katrina, and desperate for something to feel good about. That victory made New Orleans the Heir's alt team, with the Giants as the primary. Heir believes it will take years or even decades, before there's another Superbowl that ordinary people, not the dweebs in the sports rags, will talk about the entire year, even well into the next season of that year, and for years to come.

We finally got Naomi's pic ready for the next time we update the Bachelor site, when we update with a new episode on audio. Also we got it now so that the ladies' pics change in the navbars on a daily basis. And thirdly, a sketch of the Heir's audio player will be present in the music section. At some point he wants to get a list of his one hit wonder tracks from the Seventies on the music section as well.

Okay, people, we usually don't pull a Flaileef getting you to do stuff with the activist lifestyle, but when the Heir and I along with Naomi and Yumeka went to Bland Barns tonight as well as Comida Del Sol, the Heir was thinking about all our fellow Americans most affected by the double whammy of being terminated from unemployment and cut back on food stamps, and he took a $5 slip for the food bank at both shops. He wants to also make a mail in donation as well, but he wants everyone else reading this to do the same. Google the name of your state and the words "food bank," to find the web site or equivalent of your state's food bank, and either make an online donation or send in by mail, anything you can do to help your fellow Americans this cold winter.
