We respectfully wanted to wait till after the contemplations of the 25th proper before making commentary. But do you know whom TSV observed doing the same? The sky-is-falling doomsay-distraction-from-anti-Biden-July24 Clooney Donkeys. TSV did not get -even one- text on either the 24th or the 25th. So if he gets any correspondence from now into the New Year about an impending doom of sorts, again he's not suggesting being in denial over it, but if things were truly that dire, why did they say to their respective staffs "enjoy the Holidays?" It's because TSV figures that staff hours at the doomsday offices had the 24th and 25th off. TSV remembers that George Washington and his troops didn't take those days off when they crossed the Delaware to try to turn the tide at the battlefields of Princeton and Trenton. TSV remembers the book of 1776 written by David McCollough and how the portrayal was that it was that year that was the most dire for the country, because the country only had declared independence on 7/4 that year (hence technically not a country till then), and the impression TSV got from reading that book was that most members the continental congress truly weren't absolutely sure that such a declaration was necessarily the right thing to do, because that would have been burning bridges. There's no do-over on that one if they were going to be led the gallows depending on what was going to happen next. But they went ahead with it feeling the undertow despite a plurality of Loyalists in the colonies. As terrible as -trump- is, TSV sees the anti-Biden Cloonies as having difficulty in making the doomsday case if unlike General Washington, they were willing to take off for the Holidays. So, again, TSV figures if they go back to that talking point over the coming year, it's going to come off as disingenuous for him. He also imagines that if he asks them about their roaring silence during the Holidays, they'll likely respond with a word salad, or otherwise a feeble attempt at changing-the-subject-red-herring or some sort of emotional language. TSV isn't going to buy it, either from the Cloonies or the Bernies, and certainly not from the -trumpists-. -Only the Spirit Of 46 upholding the belief in the concept of principle embodied by Biden- TSV regards as the true preventive and antidote to a doomsday scenario. You can't have a true democracy without the concept of principle, otherwise it's just another form of dictatorship, albeit a dictatorship of personal corruption.
