Adam Hamawy won the primary where we live, and that was nearly two weeks ago. A week after Hamawy won, Tropical Soulvangelical emailed his campaign with a request that Hamawy in representing the Donkey side in November recant and repent on behalf of the Donkeys the War On Biden promulgated by Clooney two years ago. He also requested that this recanting repentance be counted as on behalf of a prospective constituent, not on behalf of Bernie or only with Bernie's blessing, since it was Bernie that endorsed Hamawy's campaign. Furthermore, the repentance has to be done by the beginning of July, though in the spirit of the semiquincentennial, TSV's going to give until about 7/5, the day after the anniversary. TSV didn't see any reply in his emails since to see whether they acknowledged receipt, but that was only five days ago, and he doesn't attach too much importance as much as to his getting ready to bring Jay Vaingankar back into the race on a write-in level if necessary. We thought we talked about "JV" in a previous base share, but we can't find it. Maybe we'll look again. But TSV doesn't want Hamawy's campaign to happen to come across this base share and decide not to respond just because we're looking at the possibility of a write-in for November. TSV wants the campaign to understand that they themselves hold the key to that not happening, and not act too hastily accordingly. Stay tuned.
