"If you really, really need a tabletized dash, why can't it be inconspicuous under where the radio is here?"-Heir

"Better yet, have the tabletized dash be ePaper instead of a glowing screen." credit: http://soundofthesoul.net

The Heir thinks the top-most one is the coolest.  (It's simplicity).

It's that time again.  The Heir gets to dream about classiness in cars, this time it's a 1980 Lincoln Coupe.  Of course 1980 he cites as the year in which most of today's problems got started, and it's been 36 years.  But here's a two-door with both opera windows and opera lights.  It could be called jazz lights, or reggae lights, or whatever music the Heir's playing at the time, as he drives leaning back, with his other arm draped over the passenger seat.  Carmen has borrowed it to take it around the block, on more than one occasion (The Heir's got no idea what the deal is with the gift bow in the back, though).

The Heir adds, "In today's soup of endless tabletized dashes, this should serve as one of many inspirations for at least a limited edition of 10,000 production models or so, in a nod to the time when cars used to be cars." (credit: http://www.americandreamcars.com)

Diamond in the back, sunny roof top...

When cars were cars.

Well, what are you waiting for, Heir?  Take her out for a spin!

"Say what!"

Here's a dash the Heir wants to see come back, in our techy dash age of ours.  This comes from the King of all cars, but while also being patent-wise, there's no reason why we can't have this general design.  Once again.

"Well, maybe if they still want a GPS in there, showing you where all the gas stations and restaurants are, we can shrink it down and put it on the middle axle of the steering wheel."

Here's a cool radio the Heir saw on YouTube.  He likes the vinyl-ish texture, as well as the double-mat speaker grille.  The shortwave band can be swapped out for the weather band, and with an aux band button swapping out the tone knob on top, and he's got something to bring with him to that beach that's conformant with Carmen's preferred dress code.  He'll have to re-watch the video to see whether the carry handle gets in the way of the buttons.  1960 Sudfunk @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJ570UrhdSs

Here's another radio the Heir enjoyed seeing on that radios YouTube channel.  It's a European LW/AM/SW radio from the early 1960s, which has city captions in what the Heir believes to be the longwave band.  It's of an Art Deco style, and the speaker grille has an elegant rhomboid shape.  The brownish colors of beige, brown and gold go together very well on this radio, but there's also black, white and silver for the grille.  This radio's able to bend the classiness rules of not using more than 2-3 colors per artifact, because the speaker grille is perceivable by the observer to be a separate artifact from the rest of the radio somehow.  1963 Schneider Troubadour Radio @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAZk1UBYikg

Please listen to our newest episode on audio, either in the appropriate announcement below this one, or the audio stream link on this handle.  In general, the bachelor points out the dovetail between the specific classiness of cigars, and general classiness at large.  That often includes Persianesque themes of medallion and damask designs in fabrics.  Here's a site that sells such fabrics FYI.  Fabric Guru @ http://www.fabricguru.com/

Here is a "decor" web site with themes conformant enough with the classiness ideal to keep featureless items made of white plastic at bay.  We've liked the Persian style curtains and the classy jars.  We're making sure that in the Bachelor Universe at least, the furniture store has things like those in stock.  Touch Of Class @ http://www.touchofclass.com/
